This place was very well managed, cleaned, and beautiful. It is a great place for celebration or couple’s first date. Their Taro Paste Volcano shaved ice combination bowl is very smart. It is has a treat for everyone. Caramel pudding was very soft with a pleasantly strong caramel flavor, taro past was not too sweet-well balanced, taro balls were very soft and smooth (reminded me of a perfect cooked gnocchi), red beans were very well cooked still in bean shape but soft, bobas were lightly chewy but soft, shaved ice had no much flavor but a great addition for the chill, the vanilla ice cream on top created the flavor bomb for the whole bowl. Every bite was so fresh. The price was quite hight. A medium size of that was 11.58 after tax plus at least 15% tip suggested. A big bowl to share for two would total up to be about 18 dollars. It is definitely something worth trying at least once. I also found out that this place is also available on the east coast for Bostonians :).
Beautiful place to enjoy some Taro or Red bean desserts. Extremely comfortable environment. Would suggest adding something else to the TV besides just Meet Fresh commercials.
I ordered hot glass jelly for to go, but it still watery after a few hours, not even form jelly on top. Very sad
Please don't order delivery from Meet Fresh through Chowbus. The cold foods I orderedwas prepared 1 hours ago, the delivery was texted me it would arrive in 30 minutes but it has been 50 minutes and ice cold dishes still not come. I think I'll prepare drink ice water when food is here.
Bought two icy glass jelly signatures. The toppings are steaming hot and after 5 mins of driving they became two bowls of warm soup.Since when they don’t cool down the toppings before putting in?
Just love everything about this place. I like how you place your order at a self order kiosk machine (not having to talk to anybody) and then you just wait for your order.Although I think they may need another machine because if it gets busy there’s going to be a line. Especially as summer is approaching.
We bought two customized hot grass jelly for takeout. When we opened them back home, none of the ingredients we chose was added! We got two plain grass jelly. It was horrible experience
First time being here. My first impression of this place: lots of free parking spaces, clean and nicely decorated. I can imagine it would be a good place to hang out with friends and family. I have tried Meet Fresh at other location. We ended up getting the black sugar shaved ice. It came with this cute yellow pudding. The flavor was ok. The cup with pearls was covered with melted brown sugar. There were a lot of pearls but the brown sugar suppose to come off from the pearls. I expected the brown sugar was poured all over the ice shaving. I’m guessing we would pour it all over the ice shaving. The desert also came with red beans and ice cream too.Would I get this again? Probably not. I will try another desert out. It’s tasted ok but it wasn’t like super delicious either.
Ordered the Taro Paste Volcano Shaved Ice and the Mung Bean Cakes. The TPV shaved ice was not too sweet, the equivalent of 25-30% sweetness of a boba drink. The pieces of egg pudding, real taro roots, red bean, boba and many more were just the perfect combination. The Mung Bean Cake tasted the way it should, but the presentation was eye catching. There's a lot of seating and tables inside with a modern diner feel to it and it invites people to hang out, eat, study, or whatever.
We chose to come to Meet Fresh because of its late hours and awesome location! So yay for that! :) Though this was a lovely place to convene, the actual food was not great. I was with a group, and the order took a very long time to come out. When it did come out, the waffles weren’t warm and they were apparently very dry, the almond soup was a bit bland, and the boba my mom ordered on the side was all stuck together and was only a very tiny plastic sample size cup. (I did actually appreciate, though, how soft the boba was when I put it in my almond soup.) The individual ice cream scoops my dad ordered for the table were so small, everyone had a chuckle and one of my cousins said “thats a scoop?”. My dad and cousin did like the grass jelly soup though, and we had a great time regardless. :)
