A friend from out of town invited us to dinner at Hakka Cuisine because she wanted authentic Hakka dishes to remind her of home. We arrived around 7-ish on a Friday night with a group of 6 and this place was packed! Luckily the big table that they had was leaving so we were seated within 10 minutes upon arriving.Everything on the menu looked great so we ended up ordering quite a bit. We ordered fried crispy pork intestine, fried crispy milky roll, Hakka braised pork belly, Hakka lion meatballs, Hakka emperor chicken with scallion sauce, Hakka pan fried tofu, vegetable stir fried with garlic, pork tripe with chicken soup and an eel dish that I don’t know the name to.The fried crispy pork intestine was good and not too oily. The fried crispy milky roll was interesting. It’s like a milky/custardy texture on the inside and firm and crispy on the outside. The Hakka braised pork belly was great! The flavors were amazing and the fatty part basically melt in your mouth. The Hakka lion meatballs were amazing! They were very tender and flavorful! The pan fried tofu was very hot but very good. It came out in a claypot so it retained quite a bit of heat. It was in some kind of sauce that makes it very flavorful. The emperor chicken with scallion sauce is my favorite from all the dishes we tried! The chicken was served cold and it was the most well cooked chicken I’ve had. Combine that with the great scallion sauce (I love garlic, scallions etc.), it was definitely a winning combination in my book. The vegetables stir fried with garlic were great. It was very flavorful because they were stir fried in pork fat! The pork tripe and chicken soup was also great. It’s very peppery (white pepper), which was great to break up all the fattier food we were eating. All of the meat in it were tender as well. And last but not least, the eel dish was also good. The eel was stir fried with green pepper, onions and garlic cloves and had amazing flavors. The eel does come with bones so beware for those that haven’t had eel with bones before!Overall, I’m already drooling to go back to this place as I am writing this review so of course I would highly recommend it! We tried quite a variety of items from their menu and all of them were great! Highly recommend the emperor chicken with scallion sauce!

Food is delicious, will definitely go again.

Highly recommend! Very authentic and delicious food. We tried Hakka salt baked chicken, hakka pan fried tofu stuffed with pork, fried crispy milk roll and stir fried beef tendeloin with oyster mushroom, all tastes good!We arrived 11:00 on a weekend morning and there is plenty of seats. Most of folks chose takeout.

Had lunch here and it was really good. The Panda bamboo chopsticks are too short and skinny and make eating difficult. Every other Asian restaurant has the good wooden ones. The much larger plastic ones are the best though and the best restaurants have those. I'll buy some plastic ones and bring them with me when I come back.

They are my go-to place for over 5 years. Very good quality, healthy (much less salt and oil as compared to some other chinese/asian restaurants), and very reasonable price. Overall great place, would like to recommend.

The food here was great. I recommend trying the black pepper stomach soup in cold weather.

Traditional Hakka food. Very nice service. Food is also good. Finally they allow indoor dining.

first visit. luv it. will be back in no time.

I was very excited to try this place but it didn't meet my expectations. Fried oyster mushroom which was too salty with too much breading. Hakka braised tofu's sauce was good but thought it could be better marinated. Clay pot garlic shrimp and eggplant smelled really good but for some reason the flavor didn't come out as well.

The pan fried tofu with meat and beans is definitely my fav dish.
