Here for lunch and th food was amazing. Huge portions and amazing combinations of flavors. My friend Erik gives it a provisional 5⭐️ rating because he wants to try more dishes. The potato bolani is good and the eggplant borani was the best. Everything is very hot temperature wise so let it cool before you dig in. The lamb kabob was flavorful and delish. The mantoo (afghan potstickers are so good.
Food is not bad. Chapli Kabab and Chicken was not spicy but the hot sauce makes up for it. Salad and chick peas were mediocre. The qabli toppings were a $3.44 charge that I need to put on top of the white rice to make it qabli? Gets pretty expensive on Uber at around $20/entree
This is my first time eating anything Afghani and everything halal. The menu is filled with unfamiliar terms and enough for me to seek help from my serving lady. Dahl, Aush, Qabili, Korma, Sabzi, Doogh, Firni, Bolani and Mantoo all sound Greek to me. I mean, Afghani. So I ordered the chopan lamb, chicken and beef kabob combo and chai just to be safe. At least I know what a kabob is. And the grilled eggplant or the borani badinjon for appetizer .I was pleasantly surprised. Afghan food is genuinely delicious!! Meats are tender and so very tasty. The rice exudes a fragrance that you could mistake for perfume. This place is authentic Afghani. From interiors to amazing food. Elon Musk eats here having his Tesla headquarters hereabouts. That is how good this place is. Dine here if you visit Fremont.
I got combination kabob. They were very good- meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. I just waited some time for my to go order for this kabob. Big serving i love it!
6 of us had dinner here and ordered one of each Kabobs on the menu. The Beef Kabob was the most tender and flavorful. All of the dishes are served with rice and our host brought an appetizer of flat bread which was filled with Veggies. The restaurant is 100% halal and it appeared was doing a brisk to go business. The place is small felt a bit cramped but the service was friendly.
We enjoyed the great food and their services.
Incredible! Was invited there by an Afghani man I met in the hotel lobby this morning. Turned out to be a beautiful interesting interior and ambience with a separate room with low table seating. He ordered for us and got to try several authentic dishes and my beef kabob was indescribably delicious! What an experience that fell in my lap unexpectedly.. I can't wait to try it again. Thanks Abdul!
Perfect cozy spot for different varieties of kabobs, there's vegetarian entrees as well.Dined in Sunday night with my friends, we shared Qabili Palau with lamb shank, it was so good, lamb shank was tender. I had combination kabob with chicken & lamb.
Great food and amazing floor seating area. Service was overall good but server could have checked back with our table more frequently.
Highly recommended, I enjoyed the food and hospitality. Look fwd to taking friends and family here. 4300 Great America pkwy Santa Clara new local spot to eat
