The best restaurant in Fremont. Food made from scratch, so you can actually enjoy the taste and flavor. Will go again!
Good food and friendly service and staff
My gosh this place is horrible! I genuinely feel like their reviews are paid because this place does not deserve a 4.7 rating. We came here a few weeks ago and the food was horrible. The bread was stale and the service made me never want to come again. Our server, I dont know if its Fredrico himself, was drunk as a fiddler. Prices I dont care about as long as the food is good, but this place was an absolute waste of money. I wish Niles gets better restaurants because I feel someone needs to buy this restaurant and make it worth eating it. I highly recommend any place but here. What ticked me off the most was that the food was bad and the guy came to us about 5 times in a span of one hour to ask how the food was. the bald guy was too chatty. I was hoping to spend a quiet evening eating out with my SO, but this guy not only brought horrible food and wine but also made the evening unbearable. I am never going here again!
One of the worst tasting food I’ve ever had. There was no taste. One star is for customer service but otherwise taste is zero and price is too high. They serve a $7.99 bottle wine at $26 a glass. I never go this negative on my reviews but the missing taste here made me write this.We had Bruschetta, Ravioli and Gnocchi.
Best cocktails in town! Gotta love their hospitality too!
I’m sorry to have to give this “do not recommend” review as it looks like there are many positive ones. However, this was the worst food and service experience I have ever had. We were patrons on Wednesday night, December 1st. The first red flag should have been the overwhelming smell of weed emanating from the kitchen. Our server was friendly, yet obviously loaded. He was not capable of performing his job or communicating properly with patrons. That could have been overlooked with delicious food but, sadly, that was not the case. My husband and I realized that we shouldn’t have eaten as much of the meal as we did. Other members in our party barely ate their meals. Thankfully, we didn’t experience any food poisoning symptoms but we wouldn’t have been surprised if we had. There was one dessert ordered from our party which had to be served in a “to go” box as the service was so slow and we needed to leave for our evening event. It ended up being left on the table. It was tasted during the ridiculously long waiting time to acquire change from our bill. It was inedible. If this how this establishment functions I am wondering how they are able to stay in business.
EXCELLENT menu! Our group of 6 had 5 different entrees and they were each delicious. Wonderful sauces with each dish. They have a very good chef. Looking forward to going back.
Owner is hands on. Service staff was friendly. Good food, great Niles (Fremont) feel. Looking forward to the patio opening in the Spring time.
What a find!! I’m from the South Bay but currently live in Tempe AZ. I was traveling back on business but was also visiting with family. Looking for dinner on my last night in town, my BF and I wanted some Italian food but near Alvarado-Niles area. We decided to try something new instead of the typical restaurant chains in the immediate shopping/dining area. Just 10 min from our hotel in a cute antique part of town, known as Niles was this gem of a place. They have fantastic service, food and rustic decor, which made it feel cozy. We had an unforgettable night thanks to the authenticity of the staff and service. Again great food, wine knowledge and hospitality of staff. Definitely will be back on our next visit!
I genuinely don't understand why this place got such a high rating. The complimentary bread served to us tasted dry and bland, like cheap bread bought from stores. Ordered a cioppino and it was average at best yet quite pricey. The restaurant is located in a somewhat nondescript location and is pretty packed since there aren't many tables.Overall an overrated place.
