Good service, and good portions but the food is very very Bland. If you like Mexican food or have had good Mexican food you probably won’t like this place. When we walked in the chips were already under where a heat lamp is, but the lamp wasn’t on. The salsa had no flavor. I’m typically a big eater but I couldn’t even eat half the plate because it was so bland and I ended up losing my appetite. The Mexican rice had no flavor, and honestly the best part was the soda I got. Way too expensive for what youre getting.
Food is not what it used to be. It is o.k., but not the same with the new owners.

"Where's the flavor?" Not at El Patio! It seems they have adopted the 'hurry up and get those plates out' approach. The food used to be seasoned like Mexican food should be. I go back every few months for lunch just to see if anything's changed. After today's bland chicken enchiladas and being served the wrong dish, I'm sad to say I won't be returning. It's time I search for a Mexican restaurant that will give my taste buds what they crave....FLAVOR.
It is my favorite Mexican restaurant around Fremont. Endless menu. We usually ask the recommendation and every time those guys know exactly how to surprise us. Flan is one of the best I have ever tried.
I have mixed reviews for this place. Today the service was very good. At other times the servers can be quite rude. Food is average.

Very quiet, very few customers, no one utilizing the outdoor area. Great, attentive service. The layout had changed-there's a large bar area now.Of course, I got 3 meals out of the one serving and all 3 were delish!
