Best takeout Chinese in Fremont/Irvington! The egg-Foo-young is the best! The owner is really nice... And if you are really nice to him, he'll give you a shot of something special!
Good solid Chinese food. A local favorite, always workers at the outside patio seating on lunch breaks. Often we order for pickup, or just walk over, order, and wait at a table. My son says their mapo tofu isn't as good as mine. He's very sweet. ;). He does have to ask for extra ma-la, though. Lunch special rice plates.
Still surprised on how well priced the food is. Most of the meals I have had from there have tasted well. A nice local takeout place to go to in Fremont.
First I would like to say, the employees were great!! Amazing service from them but this is my review on the food. This is truly the blandest chinese food I have ever had ever. No flavor on the chicken and chow mein, very nasty. Waste of my $. Maybe it was me but this food was not worth my $ not even worth a $1 im sorry.
I was pleasantly surprised buy how good the food was. Also the portions were large and the service was fast. The place is not much to look at but don't let that fool you. The food is excellent.
Love coming to this Chinese food restaurant. More of a take out or delivery spot than a dine in place as there is limited seating. A real treat for the family, especially if you are trying to get the kids to eat fresh vegetables.A few dollars more than compared to fast food restaurants, but you're getting hot, delicious, made to order food.This is what we ate for my 50th birthday! It's one of my favorites!
Friends have told me about this place for a while, and i finally got to try it. Don't be fooled by the basic facade of this place. The food is amazing. I got orange chicken here, and for 10.95 got a lunch platter which included the orange chicken as well as fried rice. Both were delicious and plates can easily be shared. I'd definitely come back here.

The owner is hilarious. The food is delicious. Full of flavor. Food portion is big. House fried rice is very good.
Most people would agree that average take out cost for one person is around $10. You get a lot for $10 or above. The portions are big and you can customize your plate. For example, the first time I was here I ordered half sweet and sour chicken and half chow mein. This plate alone is enough to feed two people. As for the quality of the food, it is well done. I have never had any undercook or over cooked food. Management is respectful and attentive to customers.
