Devout coffee is, in my opinion, the best coffee shop in the bay area. Their coffee has a nice full and earthy flavor. They never overheat or overaerate the milk when steaming it. The place that supplies their pastries is very good. Their beans are very good.If you are in Union City or Fremont and like coffee... you should stop here.

Savvy a cuppa coffee ☕️. Head over to @devoutcoffee in Niles, Fremont, CA for fresh morning coffee to wake your senses and give you the perfect start of day! Favorite barista!
Fabulous little coffee shop in a unique older part of Fremont that features antique shops and a park. The outdoor area is pretty big and gets LOTS of sunshine. They sell standard coffee drinks as well as whole beans. I recommend the mocha, it’s delicious!
Nice shop and great coffee! I got the mocha and it's one of the best I've had. Really rich chocolate and deep coffee roast. I always appreciate the nice presentation with the drink. There's a cozy outdoor sitting area next to the shop.
The staff at the cash counter was very rude. I ordered 2 coffees and I happened to have a coupon that I wanted to check if it worked. It might have took me around 30 seconds to pull up and there was no one behind us waiting in the line. But the person at the cash counter was so rude and impatient that they reduced the total amount to half the original price as if I was looking for excuses to not pay for the the second coffee. And all this happened just within 30 sec. Then I found out that the coupon was not valid for this particular order so I was willing to pay the full amount. After I paid, they acted very rude and closed the screen even before me selecting any tip. They might have thought if I am requesting for a discount then maybe I am not interested in offering any tip. This behavior was very judgmental and not at all welcoming. It ruined the coffee experience for me. Now, I don’t think so this coffee place would ever be my go-to shop ever.
Devout coffee provides the best coffee with excellent craftsmanship and service. They truly seem to demonstrate a devotion to each part of the coffee experience. Whether it’s a cup of drip coffee or a shot of espresso or a special seasonal drink, each one is prepared with careful attention. I love the fact that it was founded and is owned by local Fremont natives. I think it’s the best coffee in Fremont if not the whole east bay.
Located in Niles, Fremont(older part of Fremont, which was the city where Silent Films were made). Outstanding niche coffee shop, with farm to table and precision coffee and espresso drink making. They have a High end, Probat coffee roaster, which allows them to fine tune their bean and producing excellent flavors. You have the choice of specialty teas, drip coffees, or espresso drinks. I tried their cafe mocha, which I provided a great taste of their delicious coffee beans: earthy taste, hint of unsweetened chocolate, not sweet. Definitely not your Starbucks drink, but high end espresso drinks.I recommend their ham and cheese croissant, crispy outer shell, generous amounts of ham and cheese.
Love coming by devout any time I'm in town. Great service. Coffee is awesome.
An excellent menu of pourover coffees. When you find one (or three) that you like, pick up a bag so you can have it at home too. Often quite busy but the baristas are efficient at their jobs
