My wife and I went here for dinner. We ordered carne asada dinner plate, steak & shrimps dinner plate, shrimp salad, and 2 house margaritas. The shrimp salad is great. The house margarita is so, so. The place is clean. The service is quick. The staff are friendly. The price is right. This will be my go to place for Mexican food.
Amazing place. If you are going for mission peak this is your spot to have some food post your hiking.The waitress was very nice. She even gave a bill of water too my dog, who was completely exhausted with the hike.The food was delicious too. I had a virgin margarita and veggie wet burrito. Both were tasty. Virgin Margarita was very fantastic. It’s a must try I would say.
Great little Mexican restaurant. I had the pleasure of meeting the manager Patty as she was interested to know why, I was taking photos and I let her know that I was planning to do a Google review as it was a hobby for me. She first thought I was a food critic (I guess - I may be ?) that was to be in the area. But now to the fun part, the food and the atmosphere was fun and energetic. My server was attentive and got the order right and it came quickly. Thanks Filipe! Then came by Geno - “hi do you like hot stuff”, and I responded but of course! Soon he came back with the house habanero source it was wonderful and yes hot and tasty!!! Even though I was not his table he stopped by just to make sure I was good, and I saw him do this a several other tables. It only gets better. But who else then the bartender across the way from my table “Pepe”…,OMG is this guy loved. Every customer knew him by name and when they left he came around hugged, kisses, high-fives…etc. In my opinion he is the face of Canataritos. The only thing needed is for them to expand the bar and let Pepe do his job. I will be telling my colleagues about this place and I hope you look them up!!! Awesome folks!
Fist time buying here, I got a wet burrito with nothing to eat it with no spoon nor fork, my friend had to eat it with its hands, I order a quesadilla with asada and there wasn’t any asada in it, by the way they charge you for the meat you chose on your orders, keep in mind that in the tacos or burrito you will get a sur charge for the meat. Can't say enough good things about Cantaritos! I recommend them to whomever wants real Mexican food. Green salsa is spicy but my 4 year old can't get enough. Enchiladas are great no matter what kind you order (but their mole rivals my mom's) and the price for their super taco is really good considering it's so loaded it's hard to finish. What tops it is their service is impeccable. Whether you're in person or over the phone, they're so friendly and naturally helpful all the time no matter who you get or how busy they are. I've honestly never had a bad experience.
Frist time visiting and very impressed. Fresh ingredients and a very outgoing staff. Vibrant restaurant setting.
