First time trying out this boba milk tea place.? The environment is clean? menu is visible and easy to read? Milk tea is too light, not much of taste? A little over-priced
Surprised it actually tastes like the Brian black tea I had in Tainan. Though the price definitely isn't the same. Good stuff
I can get behind the hype! Straight from Taiwan, BBT brings really good quality tea to the South Bay! My only complaint would be the long line (I only waited 20 minutes, but the line was down the street after I ordered!) and I wish their boba was sweeter. Though the texture of the boba was perfect!Assam Milk Tea: So fragrant! A touch of bitterness, but pretty sweet. I got 75% sugar and this was perfect.Iron Goddess Milk Tea: Has the perfect roasted oolong flavor that I look for in my tea! A nice floral taste. If you love tiguanyin tea, you'll love this! Both of these teas aren't very milky surprisingly. So if you want something a bit heavier, I would recommend trying the crema drinks instead.
I was so happy that they opened a Brian in the Bay Area. Ordered Ceylon milk tea and oolong milk tea, both with boba. Boba tasted just normal. But the flavor of the tea is really plain like water. I ordered 0% ice so maybe they replaced the ice with water? The sugar of the oolong milk tea is very artificial, but the sugar of the Ceylon milk tea is normal. Very disappointed with the taste.
Excellent location with decent milk tea! Try to grab one while shopping in Costco. They have the best Assam milk tea around the Bay Area. It is a classical Taiwanese milk tea shop if you are looking for one.
Good taste of tea. Assam milk tea (hot) 25% sugar is sweet enough. But 0% is on the bitter side. Comparing to milk tea, We think black tea with Crema is a better choice of tasting the tea. Currently only 3 tables in the store.
I had Assam milk tea with 25% sweetness, and it was so refreshing and brings me back to Taiwan??
I have to admit it was worth the wait! I really liked the citrus black tea and brown sugar milk tea with boba and crema added ? If you’re nearby, try this place out!! I’d go more often if I lived nearby.
Honestly, I have tried several tea/milk tea places in the Bay Area, and was amazed by the incredible flavors each drink had. I got the empress milk tea(50% s and i) and the brown sugar milk tea w/boba (50% s and i), best decision ever. Yes, there is a wait but I think it’s worth trying at least once.
Good tea!
