Lucky used to be a bargain with 3 item combos under $10 stuffed with a ton of food, but today, a 3 item combo cost $14.02 after tax. That's about a 40% jump in prices versus a year or so ago!Unfortunately, food quality has been uneven the past couple of visits. For example, the BBQ pork today not only has little BBQ taste inside the meat, it's so hard and tough! Even a Denny's steak is more tender!

Not sure what this tidbit is worth but... we ordered the Wonton Soup (amazing soup btw) and drove back to Vegas with it, no thermal bag or seat heater and when we got home the soup was still hot. Not warm, hot. 3.5 hour drive. And still tasted amazing!Everything here is good and you can tell because everyone seems to go here!House chicken is amazing and I will spend many years trying to recreate that recipe.10/10

*** CASH ONLY *** Don't make the mistake of not having cash on you if you plan on purchasing food from Lucky Chinese Food. They do have an ATM machine located inside but I would assume a fee is charged if you use it.My bf and I were craving Chinese food and found Lucky Chinese food on yelp. After reading all of the raving reviews we decided to try them out. Upon arriving we were surprised to find a long line of customers. I should have figured they would be busy but not THAT busy! It was a telling sign that they are as good as their reviews state. I was excited to finally find a Chinese food establishment near home. Even with the long line it moved at a decent speed. They had 3-4 ladies working the front, getting customers orders and ringing them up.I ordered their Combo 1 which comes with Chow mein, fried rice and one side. You can substitute the chow mein & fried rice for all chow mein which is what I did. I got the Orange chicken as my side and also an order of their egg rolls. My bf ordered a Combo 2 (Chow mein, fried rice and 2 sides). The total for our entire meal came out to $22 which I think is a good price for the amount of food we received. They do give generous portions! The food really did live up to the hype. Everything was nice and fresh. I loved the sauce on the orange chicken, some pieces did have thick breading so it turned a little mushy by the time we got home to eat but it wasn't too big of a deal. I did like the more crunchy pieces though. The egg rolls do have some type of meat in them, I think it was chicken? I was expecting a veggie roll. Next time I'll have to ask if they have that. The chow mein was delicious! The main star of my meal. I love the slight char'ed taste of the noodles, it added a nice little touch.I look forward to coming back for more whenever I'm craving Chinese food again! Their food is superb and the prices are affordable. 5 stars for Lucky Chinese Food!

Good foods and affordable. They have variety of foods and options to select here. Some foods are a bit’s greasy compare to Panda Express. They do accept cash only and there is an ATM inside.

Great value with exceptional service (once you get to the front of the line!) A little slow, but it’s worth the little bit of wait. The restaurant staff is very friendly and they hook it up with portions. Pretty decent price to quality ratio. I had orange chicken and house special chicken. Flavor was alright, but definitely the best bang-for-your-buck Chinese food in the area.

Went here about a year ago, Food was great.2022 I go here again, and food was awful.Burnt chow mean, old irange chicken , BBQ pork was nothing but fat. Not one of the items were enjoyable, service was not that great either.Must be New cooks or New management but I won't be coming here again.

Must've been there at the right time. The eggplant & tofu was outstanding. So are orange chicken & beef + string beans. Everything was fresh! ??????

I normally don’t write reviews unless I have something amazing to say about the restaurant. I’m all about supporting our businesses but I really have to say I have never been treated so rudely at a restaurant.I called to ask about their catering options because last minute needed to find something for Christmas Eve. I was so happy to find out I could possibly pick up platters from here. I asked about the pricing and the lady already seemed like she was a bit annoyed. I still persisted to order. After she took my order, I asked her how big the platters were (to see if I ordered enough and just in case I needed to order 1 more). This is her response “oh my gosh, really? You have too many questions. If you want to order, come here, I will not take your order on the phone” and she hung up.I asked just enough to know the pricing and what they offer for platters and I understand they may be busy d/t Christmas Eve but that is still no way to treat a customer. I found another Chinese restaurant who took my order with no issues and in less than a few minutes because they answered my questions appropriately. I will take my business elsewhere today and for all other future orders and catering needs.

I don’t know how they do it. Chow mein with a great wok flavor. House special chicken is tasty, savory, with a bit of heat from fresh jalapeños. Fried squid perfectly crunchy. Their food is always fresh and tastes great. They have amazing consistency. They stuff as much food as possible into the styrofoam containers too. The same women always work there and are very friendly. If you’re thinking about Chinese food, give this place a shot!
