Best ramen I have ever had. My daughter loves ramen so I am always trying new places because I haven’t found one I ever loved. She’s easy and loves them all. We came upon this place after visiting the reptile zoo in the shopping center next door. It’s an hour drive from us but I’d definitely visit again just to have their food. Everything we had was delicious and the staff was awesome

We placed a large order, waited 45 minutes, drove 15 minutes to the restaurant and they gave our order to someone else. How does that happen when they check your credit card against the receipt when you pick it up! The workers were so nonchalant about it to! They said, we can get it started but it'll be a while. They should have made every effort to remake our order cutting the prep time in half. We would need to wait in the car for 30 minutes? Ridiculous! They offered to give us a free appetizer but didn't give us a voucher or anything. How are they supposed to remember they offered us a free appetizer? This isn't the first time they messed up our order. They've forgotten the ramen noodles. Why do we go back? The ramen is great! However, the service is lacking lately! They need to get it together!

Thumbs up for the service. The server was attentive and friendly! The restaurant has a welcoming vibe. Now for the food, if you come for a typical ramen out there, (some chains have ruined with simplicity), don’t expect much here. I first felt odd trying this Spicy Miso Ramen because it had a little bit of sourness to the soup; but as a whole, once it brought altogether with the veggies and spicy broth and became a different taste and experience. Also, chashu was bomb! Soft but still some chewy texture. My 7-yr-old son who has experienced more than 20 different ramen shops, he will be back for more!

We got the spicy miso ramen and chicken katsu plate. The broth didn’t have much flavor and the noodles were very over cooked and soggy. The katsu was tasty, but more bread flakes than chicken.

The soup is clear n not too salty. Never felt thirty afterward. However, the takoyaki is so so...

If I could rate this place below 1 star I would. If you are trying to order online and it says "Ready for pickup" consider that a complete lie. None of this is the staff's fault, but whoever is in charge of the ordering system deserves a special place in hell. There are no excuses for such a large company to have an ordering system that is so awful and calls people in early. I had got text-verification that it was ready and arrived early but then after waiting an additional 40 minutes my food was still not ready. None of this is the minimum-wage staff's fault, but is the one who devised of this god-awful system is so tortuous that Stalin would deem to be too cruel.

The chicken is fantastic. Went here recently with my buddy and got a ton of chicken, they were super nice and gave us one of each sauce to try. Really cool little place and very friendly staff. Great job!

Everything we ordered was delicious. The staff was friendly. We look forward to returning.

Cold noodles yummy. New location in Fountain Valley beside crowded Costa Mesa. Clean and good service!

I'm so happy kitakaya ramen ban nai is expending. They have always been one of my faves in the LA area! Not sure if we happened to avoid dinner time or if this location is less crowded, but we got seated immediately and had a wonderful dinner!
