I really enjoyed the food here and I feel like I constantly want to try new things.Salmon crudo 5/5 (delicious texture and flavor)Chawanmushi 4.5/5 (a little salty for me but delicious)Cookies and cream Panna Cotta 5/5 (best to ask no fudge if you're not into something too sweet) It's a little grainier than normal Panna Cotta and is also served in a glass jar which is why they don't let you order it for take out.Additionally others in my party had the cheesecake and tirimisu, I had a bite and I think the cheesecake would also be better sans the sauce.Food wise I got the mushroom truffle ramen with no chashu, it was very truffley but in the future I think I wanna try the salmon donburi which my family had gotten (huge salmon lover).Additionally also got to try the mazemen which was really good! If I'm not feeling in the mood, I'd like to try their soba and I think they had tsukemen.I've had their yuzu lemonade and Yuzu drop, both were a tad on the sweet side with not as much yuzu flavor as I'd like, probably would try their matcha cocktail next time or the mocktail.Online website has a slightly outdated menu compared to the one available in store via QR code.Overall small dishes were delicious, but I've had better ramen and better cocktails. Super friendly staff that allows for substitutions and modifications not normally allowed at traditional ramen spots.Would go again for the small dishes and dessert though, I hope they don't ever change their milk panna cotta.
Been wanting to try this place since it opened in fountain valley. The wait-list goes by quick, just be sure to check in with the host after you join the wait-list.The cocktails were good. The lychee Margarita was very tasty. My husband got the Tokyo mule which he enjoyed. I found it a little too minty for my taste. We got the furikake fries as appetizers and they were really good. They were almost like shoestring fries and had a lot of flavor. The tonkatsu ramen had very good broth. You can taste the natural meat flavors. The egg was perfect and the toppings were all delicious. My only complaint and the reason for the 4/5 was the pork belly topping. It was a fat piece of pork belly that was well marinated, but the meat between the ribbons of fat were so dry and overdone. This is a key piece of the ramen so I was a bit disappointed. Will definitely be coming back to try their other flavors, though.
I would recommend this place 100%. No waiting time , so we were immediately greeted and led to our table. We were served immediately water, including a cup with lid for my toddler. There's a happy hour which offers appetizers, Ramen and drinks with discount. The food came out a few minutes later, everything warm and tasty. I also liked the service, it was attentive and fast. Our server brought extra plates and even some scissors in case I wanted to cut noodler for my toddler.
Modern ramen & izakaya with a good selection of dishes on their menu. Definitely on the pricier side but the dishes deliver in taste. The staff were friendly and willing to help if you had any questions and service was fairly quick. Their house special ramen was decent, kind of sweet but I needed chili oil to give it a kick as it needed the kick for me to enjoy it fully. Their sides were great and well presented as well. Good restaurant to visit at least once if you're in the area.
We had a birthday at our table and without prompting or telling the server they brought out a crazy good oreo pudding dessert with a candle on top. It was very cool of them. The food was delicious as well. There were a lot of 5 star flavors but my favorites were the Matcha Cloud and the Spicy Miso, though I still need to go back and try more things. If you want excellent ramen and customer experience give Kin Craft Ramen a stop.

Salmon donburiThis is beyond expectation for a ramen place! The ramens are so good with an add of interesting twist, including laksa ramen or adding intestine to a bowl of ramen. Besides the fusion ramens, there are also raw bar and izakaya dishes which is perfect. My favorites are snail and shrimp. I have more photos and will post more on the beautiful + yummy dishes. The menu will add some seasonal dishes that makes me come back to try them out. Let me know what's yours? Not only a ramen place, it's also an izakaya and dessert heaven. They offer variety kinds of ramen, from vegetarian to seafood and intestine (pretty exotic for ramens. Izakaya is bomb with the big shrimps, snails with the phenomenon dipping sauces. One of my favorite izakaya dish is the zucchini skewer with shrimp paste sauce on top. OMG so good!! The desserts are super good and consistent on their restaurant chain. Mocktails and cocktails are very fruity and pretty. The interior is simple yet modern, I'm sure you'll like it! This restaurant ticks a lot of boxes for a great hang out place.Tomorrow Saturday 3/5 is their Grand Opening starting at 11am. 200 first people will receive free combo tote bag, scratchers & canned drinks. Congrats Kin on the event!
The place is not bad at all. However I need to stress that if you are a fan of authentic ramen this might not be the place. The seafood ramen tastes like ốc len xào dừa, one of our street food, and the intestine one reminds me of phá lấu. Their cocktails and mocktails are as great as ROL and VOX. The appetizers are surprisingly great. I do not recommend trying the yakitori since they are pricier but contain nothing more special than other restaurants in OC. I partially come to the restaurant for food, but also for the customer service, and the staff never let me down. I will come back maybe for the drinks, the service, and their really great calamari.
We came here about an hour before closing on a Tuesday night and there was plenty of seating. We ordered the chicken thigh, chicken heart, & lobster izakaya...all were tasty! The chicken thigh was a bit too salty for me but I imagine it would've been great with a beer. We also tried the calamari and it was delish, such a light and crispy batter with a great dipping sauce. We ended with the matcha mousse & it was perfect. Exactly how I like my desserts, not too sweet. Service was great!
Ramen with intestines is so good. The place is nicely decorated. The desserts here are yummy too. Will definitely come back to try more
The restaurant ambiance is so nice! Their foie gras chawanmushi is a must try. The seafood laksa and beef intestines ramen are very unique (highly recommended). The things you shouldn’t missed are their desserts. Not too sweet and very flavorful. Overall: excellent!
