I agreed with my daughter to revisit Fortune Cookie Restaurant the other day-- it's been over 1-1/2 years. Very few people dining for lunch. The food was okay but the restaurant was looking shabby and not vacuumed after prior customers had eaten at our table. I always wonder why they would seat you next to another group when an entire center area was vacant. Should have asked for another table. The server was very pleasant but it seemed she was tired. I will go again in the next couple of months to see if it's improved from this visit.
Absolute favorite Asian fusion restaurant. We prefer the fountain valley location. The interior is beautiful with umbrellas hanging from the roof and a relaxing interior. The sushi bar is delicious and you can watch sports and enjoy your drink.The menu was created to be healthy with less salt and gluten-free options.Everyone had a different meal- kung pao chicken, chow mein, spring rolls, hot and sour soup, yum ?The staff is friendly and it’s good fast service.
Food was always decent. NO SUSHI ON MONDAYS . Really? Its on the menu.

Our new favorite place for Chinese Cuisine. Had the best service & food suggestions by our waiter. Smokey Mongolian Beef, House Chop Suey Honey Walnut Shrimp tasted better than expected.
I got the Mongolian Beef with fried rice, egg roll, salad, and soup and my wife got the Salman Sashimi. We both enjoyed our meal!
Great food, good prices, large portions. The outside looked like a typical strip mall dinner, but the inside was quite nice.
Finally went to Fortune Cookies and not at all disappointed, the food was so so good and very fair prices. We had orange chicken, pungent shrimp and house special chop suey. The only complaint was that it was so cold in there the food didn't stay hot and we couldn't get sushi because the chef was on break!! Really!! But otherwise very good!!
Food here is always off the charts good, but if you do an online order for a specific time, get there at least 25 minutes early because your food will already be done. Unfortunately this happened to us a few days ago, so the food was cold by the time it got home.
