The food was good, if I could give this place a 0 star I would. Ishmael the manager has a serious issue with being passive aggressive towards his employees. He also has no issue in doing so in front of his guests. I came here with my family and we just wantedsome piece and quiet and instead we were greeted by an angry man named Ishmael. We were sat and almost right away heard arguing coming from what I think was the kitchen area, he talked down to his staff in a demeaning manner and at one point told the girl he was arguing with and I quote “you remind me of my ex wife”. To which the poor girl responded sorry and dismissed herself, he then replied with “don’t be sorry just do better”. When we saw the girl turn the corner she was nearly in tears. This kind of behavior from a manager is unacceptable. How dare you take your anger out from your ex wife who is probably heaps better than you. I hope this guy changes his attitude towards his staff who are KIDS. If you don’t have patience I suggest finding a job that suites you. We will not be returning.
This was our 1st time as we traveled thru on to Albuquerque...we stopped for breakfast and was surprised that the soda machine was down. My son is not a coffee drinker and wanted a cup of soda. He ended with orange juice which came in a glass that looked like it was a Mimosa. They even asked my son if he wanted alcohol at 8:30 am. That was a bit too much. The food was good and the server was paying attention so over all the place was ok.
Service was great. We had a party of 7 that included two younger than 8. No problem. Price points were conservativeQuality was good. Easy in and out.
Saturday night, 7:30pm, is pretty slow. The food is fast and our waitress Samantha was very sweet.
The Egg White and Veggie Omelet was delicious; full of flavor. Mouth watering! The kid's French toast dip was great as well. Also, enjoyed the coffee. THANK YOU.
Normally I like this place, but it took over an hour to get our breakfast and when we got it, my husband's steak was overcooked, to put is mildly, and the rest of the food was cold. If we did not have 2 young kids and somewhere to go, we would have walked out
My waitress was excellent attentive and pleasant Thank you Vivian ? the food was good. I hate to put buts but man the bathroom was disgusting I had to wait for another person to come in and hand me toilet paper because some stalls do not have any fix that issue and everything else will be great
The experience at Mimi just isn't the same anymore. The service is good, the place is clean. I sent the French onion soup back because there was hardly anything in it ?. The cook threw a few grilled onions in it to fix it! Portions were fair on main course. Paid almost $60 for a sandwich and roast beef dinner with ice tea . No alcohol was purchased.
Mimi's Cafe offers wonderful fare at a competitive price with incredible service and a pleasant atmosphere. My wife and I make it a point to come here whenever we are in the area. We love their breakfasts ‐ portions are generous and quality can't be beat. 5 stars!
