Bad customer service.. the older lady waitress has a bad attitude. Bathroom don't work in the morning due to they shut the water off to the toilets. They clean in the morning so dust goes around when you have food on the table. Don't know why they don't clean before closing so it would be clean in the morning.I won't go there again..
Love the food, here but to day was one for me! I been order cucumber and water for a long time here. Today was a total disappointment for me they would not service me or sale any cucumber for me to put in my water! ..WHY???
We went for dinner, it was very nice. We had a great server, and the food came fast. We order Billy J's grilled chicken salad everything was very fresh and delicious, we also ordered country fried steak and mash potatoes, it was perfect.
It was our 1st time eating at Billy J's Family Restaurant. It had diner decor of the 50s & records with celebrity pics from 60s & 70s with 70s & 80s music. I ordered the Bourbon Chicken skillet dinner with strawberry-lemonade and my hubby ordered the Cajun Chicken fettuccine dinner with orange soda and both dishes and garlic toast were too salty we couldn't eat it. The house salad was fresh and the chicken tortilla soup and baked potato were good.
Ran into this hidden gem ? on Valentine's Day ? 2022... Surprisingly, No wait time! I had the most tender Liver and oñions in a long time with over easy eggs and it was sooo good ? and fulfilling! My picky son had the Honey chicken ?? and Waffles and he absolutely loved them!!! They have a wide Variety of choices on their menu and our party of "7" where very pleased and satisfied with their food selections... from their Mimosas and their perfect french fries? to their very own dressings❣Definitely Recomend and will definitely be going back!
Had a A rating in the window. Clean restaurant and also the bathroom. Portions large. Food good. Soda 3.25 dollars. I will drink water next time. Will return when I am in the are. Staff friendly.
My son loved the Fried Chicken and Waffles! I had Chicken Fried Steak for the first time and it's absolutely amazing! Have with the fresh salsa and Grilled Sourdough not toasted.The service was GREAT!Love Billy J's?
This place is like a mom and pops place the food is good they make you feel at homeI don't know. But to me I feel like something is missing.
My parents have been going to this place since the 1970's when it was called Billy T's. Before that it was Thrifty's Diner. I went there the other day for the first time in years, and it was fantastic. I had the chicken and waffles, yum! My mom had the liver and onions and I had some. It was great, I usually don't like liver. This was delicious. The service was top notch. I dig the retro vibe inside.
Great service, nostalgic atmosphere (Wall pics, memorabilia, juke box, music, etc.).. Beautiful restaurant and very spacious!.. Employees/waitresses, was very friendly, hospitable, and went above and beyond, to accommodate the customers/patrons.. I would highly, recommend this eatery!!!.. I have yet, to try the vast menu.. I'm sure, it'll be just as good!.. Thank you, "Billy J's!".. A job well done!!! ????
