Made my last visit to Wendy's today. Never again. $8.18 for a grilled chicken sandwich. Yeah, just the sandwich. Couldn't back out of the drive through, being stuck behind four other cars with two behind me, so decided to go through with the purchase but then sat stuck for 18 minutes for whatever reason. It got worse from there. Thought about saying something about the price to the window cashier but it's not her fault, so I figured I'd just use the info on the receipt to do the survey, but when I parked in the parking lot and checked the bag ... no receipt. Opened the sandwich, took a bite, and tasted burnt bread. Pulled it apart to find the bun burnt pitch black (photo attached). Yes, believe it. $8 for that. At this point, with no receipt, I decided to go inside. I backed up and headed back, entered the parking lot, and got stuck behind the drive-through line which was blocking the one-way entrance. Frustration maxed out and having already wasted too much time, I gave up and drove away. The amount charged for such a basic small sandwich is pathetic enough, but I'm not sure how a place can get virtually every single thing wrong on such a simple order.
Food a bit expensive for fast food but that's life. Food is always hot in my husband enjoys it one of the workers there is the greatest ever I need to find out their name so I can put it on here but both the managers are icky people very rude very unpleasant and for the money they make an hour you would think that they would be a little more happy to work there definitely both managers are not cool but the one guy that works there he makes it worth coming to every night.
Sandwiches are way too expensive. I only get them with a deal on the app. Sandwiches taste as good as can be expected with fast food and have hardly any sauce on them, fries are ok, frosties at this location are awful. Twice I have ordered a chocolate one and they put vanilla under the chocolate. Plus somehow the taste is just not good. Also, when I was there a couple days ago my mobile order was taking a while to show up. The young man working the window was getting pretty anxious and didn't know what to do because the manager was not there. When she came back the order had finally popped up and she promptly started yelling at and cussing at the guy. He kept apologizing to me even though he did nothing wrong and I told him so. He was visibly shaken by being torn apart by the person that is supposed to teach him how to do this job. I will not be supporting this business if that is how they are going to allow their employees to be treated.
Clean, not crowded. Staff was efficient, but not necessarily enthusiastic. Food was cooked and presented without issue. I enjoyed french fries and a small cheeseburger along with a chocolate frosty. Should have gotten a medium frosy though - the large was a little too much for me. It was still an enjoyable experience.
Great service, sweet and hot chicken biscuit is the bomb.
I had a bad experience with another Wendy's location 16 years ago and never went back.My wife loves it though.
Consistently my favorite fast-food place in Folsom. I go here more times than I'd like to admit for Lunch after work and it is great. You can get a drink, chicken, fries, and a burger for $5... you can get it for even less too at the cost of a larger drink and a less enticing burger. But the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger is just too good. ? well worth the dollar upcharge. I will say, the drive-thru time is occasionally longer than other places, but the freshness of the food shows why, and makes it worth the wait too.
The manager was belittling the staff in front of everyone. She was over whelmed and not nice at all. The staff seemed shook over it all. Customers were apologetic to the staff because of the rude manager.Customers were leaving upset.I usually like Wendy's but this experience was horrible to say the leastI work in guest service and this experience showed me that this manager should never have become a a lead. She yelled and belittled them a lot. It was sickeningAlso yelling that she doesn't care if she gets fired!
Former employee here. You probably already know why I quit.
Food is always good. They were short handed that day so service was slow.
