Burgers are good. Don't get the hot dog. It was the tiniest, saddest little hot dog I've ever seen and they should be embarrassed to even sell it. The bun was the cheapest possible... Soggy, limp, the whole thing was a mess. The mac and cheese bites are also gross. It's like they made Stouffer's mac and cheese into nuggets and deep fried them. Stick to the burgers because they're decent.
I'm a fan! And they have fried pickles. And I'm not a fry fan, but the Cajun fires were awesome! Oh, and they have the right kind of onion rings. IKYK!
Good double bacon burger. Friendly fast staff. Fries were hot and delious.
Above average tasting burgers, but way overpriced. Wayback really doesn't do anything to distinguish itself from Five Guys or In-N-Out and there's really no reason to go out of your way to eat here and pay more. The onion rings and fries are pretty good, but again, nothing to write home about.
Yup. I took a pic when I was basically finished. I love classic burgers. I ordered a “build your own”. Classic double with American cheese. LTO, grilled onions, thousand island, and ketchup. It was fantastic! The staff were fast and friendly. Establishment was clean and well maintained. LOVED IT!!! Please open in Scottsdale where I live.
It’s a clean place and everything looks nice, but my chicken patty was almost burnt and super small. My sandwich ended up being mostly bread, for more than the cost of a double beef burger. The food isn’t inedible, but it’s bland. At least the workers were all really nice.
The food was amazing. Really liked the onion rings. They really need more staff though. We went on a Saturday night for dinner and there was only for people working. With online and in person orders it really seemed like they were drowning. Take care of your staff! I kind of feel bad thinking about going back because I don't want to stress the workers.
Great food and service. Glad Five Guys ran out of meat. We were from out of town and when Five Guys was closed, we tried Wayback. Best choice!
Love the cheese burger ? I think next time I'll try the jalapeno cheese burger.
We weren't expecting to be impressed by this location but pleasantly were! We've been to other Wayback burgers and they weren't very good. The burgers at the Folsom location are on another level than other locations. The beef patties are really fresh and juicy. Our family of 5 ordered the Cheesy burger, buffalo chicken tenders, Original Wayback burger, french fries, onion rings and Mac and cheese bites. Everyone liked what the ordered except I think the fries were pretty bland and needed to be more crispy. If they replace the fries with seasoned fries and make them crispy on the outside I think this Wayback burger would be a perfect 5.
