Slow communication between hostess & server created minor confusion over drink orders. This was fine but also odd as server seemed slightly rushed and pushy (i.e. interrupted table chatter). One might think she'd been waiting forever to take the orders that were already taken. Food was fantastic and service great otherwise. I'll be back for sure.
Good food and service. We ordered a variety of things. The salad was good including the ranch. Hawaiian burger with garlic fries was good !
Great place with a old style feel! Staff was super friendly and completely on top of things with awesome service! Food was magnificent! Plenty of options and not to pricey! Love all the old memorabilia and photos throughout restaurant. Breakfast served all day!! I will definitely be back again! Thank you Mel’s Diner of Folsom CA.
This is a diner that serves up tasty food and does it quick! Belgian waffle was light and fluffy with a dusting of powdered sugar and soft whipped butter. Yummy!

We had substantial breakfast dishes that we really enjoyed ... and the service was friendly and efficient. Mine was a Tex Mex omelet which was full of interesting ingredients. This is a great place for a filling and interesting meal.
Food was fabulous. My husband ordered a bacon cheeder burger with fries and a cup of coffee, and I ordered BLTS with a side of onion rings and strawberry milk shake. Food was fabulous, and the service was great. The portions were so large that we took half home. I highly recommend Mel's dinner for all ages. My husband and I are going to make this regular visit. Thank you to all the staff for the great foor a wonderful service.

Phenomenal service even though they were slammed! Food was great, our server was awesome and did just the right amount of checking in with us through the meal. Even though we waited for about 10 min to be seated, it was a gorgeous day outside so we didn’t mind. The whole service experience from start to finish only took about 45 minutes.
My husband and I took my parents out for dinner here. We ordered two entrees and two appetizers and the wait wasn't all that bad even though there was a good crowd inside, maybe 25 minutes or so.The two appetizers were both samplers. The mozzarella sticks were a bit disappointing, but everything else was great! My husband enjoyed his chicken fried steak and eggs, and my dad enjoyed his fish and chips.Customer service was friendly and helpful, especially at the end when my mom needed help using her app for their rewards program.My husband and I would definitely eat at a Mel's Diner more often if we had them closer to home ?
