Went to dinner on a Friday night 5 o'clock got the original fish taco plates unfortunately we weren't even able to eat them the batter on the fish was so thick hard and cold I couldnt even bite into it , the rice that came with the mean was crunchy and under cooked. The tables were all dirty with salsa spilt and salt. I used to love rubios but I won't come back to this location.
Love this place. This business closed in Vacaville, so when I saw it in Folsom, I chose it for dinner. Had the fish tacos special plate which is always good. Th tacos were great. Freshly cooked and delicious.
DIABETICS GET YOUR OWN DRINKI ordered online to save time and decided to have the drink filled when I got there.I arrived quickly and my order wasn't finished which is okay. I watched the girl fill my drink with regular coke and she marked it as diet coke. Good thing I saw! I approached her and requested a new cup and she asked why. I told her that I wanted diet coke and she said it was. I told her I watched her put regular coke in. The regular and diet cokes are at opposite sides of the drink machine so there was no mistaking what i saw. I informed her that I'm diabetic and filling a drink with regular soda when the customer asked for diet can have severe health consequences and she seemed to not care. She didn't even give me a new cup. I had to dump out this one and fill it with diet. I wasn't the only one to have to do that while I was in there.Please train your employees better. I've watched mistakes like this land people in the er.
This Rubios is 10,000x better than the EDH location. Everything is absolutely amazing. Doesn’t even taste like a chain. Keep it up!!!EDH got a lot of work to do lol

I cannot speak of the taste of the food, as I decided to leave after seeing your employee named Savanii mishandle what appeared to be a doordash order and then laugh about it. Such disrespect for a customers food does not warrant my business
Five-star coastal grill with lots of options on the menu!
Unfortunately, the last few time I’ve been here, the food hasn’t been that great. Today, they made me a Shimp burrito that took them two minutes to put together (Record timing) and the food was pretty cold when I ate it, just within a few minutes after receiving it. I could tell the rice was also getting pretty stale as well. I used to come here all the time and the food was always great. But within the last few months of noticed a completely new change in staff, and ever since the food has not been very good ?. Maybe this store is under new ownership?
I’ve been coming to Rubios for over 5 years now since I moved to the area. The food is always delicious, staff is friendly, and they get my order done fast. I’d definitely recommend the shrimp burrito and mahi-mahi burritos. Love this location!! ????(I’ve noticed that others have complained in the reviews that Rubios has new employees.. but it’s far better now than before the new owner)
Excellent Rubio's location and serviceq. Rubio's are great in general so this particular location is a double winner. Also nicely located in one of the best strip malls in Folsom.
