Love to see the old ChFi with this BBQ. My guest and I ordered, on recommendation, the pork ribs and fatty brisket.Said to be “smoke daily” every day. Sorry to say either over cooked with dried out ribs (crispy and dried out). My dog would love it. The dry Brisket had the texture of canned tuna left out on the counter. It fell apart in Dry small chunks with no juicy or fattiness to it. Again over cooked. I won’t be back. Mac and cheese average and warm.Sorry folks. We were so hungry and ate it up. But was disappointed.
I am very surprised that so many reviews are high. The location, restaurant, atmosphere, and service were very good. But the food missed. Wife had chicken, and it was dry, cold, and not very tasty. The Mac and cheese was cafeteria quality, and the Cole slaw was terrible. Two sides btw that a ligit Q place better get right. I give 2 stars because the brisket I had was pretty good. Along with the service and spot...best I can offer is a 2 star!
First time here. Very good bbq. Brisket was so tender, It was falling apart on the way to our mouths! Ribs - tasty! Cornbread - yum. Fried Zucchini Wedges with aioli sauce - yes!! I'd like more side salad and veggie choices, but it's a solid 4 for sure, and we'll be back.
Parking can be challenging but don't let that slow you down. It was worth the walk and besides it's great to see the "Old Town" shops and entertainment. Food is excellent. Atmosphere is good. Drinks ? good. But it's the food ans Atmosphere that brings me back the most.
Went here for the first time recently and was really excited to try it out. I really don’t get this whole trend of overcharging customers and then giving them as little as possible. It’s bad business because customers won’t return and will write bad reviews because they feel ripped off and it’s frustrating.I ordered something off the menu and paid $8 bucks extra for brisket. I got ONE small piece of fatty brisket amounting to a tablespoon, it was just a chunk of fat. The portion was tiny for a $25 meal. Drinks were 90% ice in a small little mason jar. I walked out paying a lot and getting a little. Will not recommend to others and why would I bother coming back?
Not bad. The brisket was delicious and tender, I loved the cornbread. The mac & cheese was just okay. The chips and salsa were also just okay. The sandwiches looked good so I think I'll go that route next time. The BBQ sauces were okay, the habanero was my favorite and it wasn't really spicy.

Pretty cool place..Best biscuits ever and I have lived in the South. My wife bought 6 biscuits to go for breakfast.Cornbread was fantastic also.House salad was very good. Brisket sandwich was OK. Meat was a bit dry, though they do have 3 very good bbq sauces to add.Fried ribs were good, but not much meat.Service was friendly and professional.
