I love this restaurant. I was excited there’s one in Rocklin now. However, I’m not so sure now. I visited the Folsom location at the Palladio. I got Burnt Ends and Fries. The fries were old and the portions for both have dropped to a pathetic amount. I paid $15 for hardly anything. Disappointed ☹️ (I ate 5 fries)
The krispy chicken avocado salad is So good plus is very filling and huge! I will definitely get this again. Do not mind the presentation I threw it in the box myself lol.
Absolute and Complete failure. They managed to screw up literally everything. As we entered, my group and I noticed a hand-written sign stating that certain meats were unavailable. When we tried to order we found out that many other meats were also unavailable. After playing the “is it available” whack-a-mole game for a few minutes we were finally able to order. The rest of my group sat down, and I went to the bar to order drinks. The bartender was super nice but overworked. Eventually I got a Moscow Mule poured from a tap, which tasted like automotive coolant. Easily the worst drink I’ve ever had.A member of my group got his food far before anyone else and even before people who ordered after us. Eventually my food came out, it was cold. Add to that the sides I ordered were replaced with two bowls of Mac and Cheese. I told the server of this. Turns out they were missing stock of several side orders too. They just failed to inform us, letting it be a surprise. Instead of asking if I wanted anything else they just decided to give me mac and cheese. Ironically, after some investigation it was discovered that one of the sides I ordered was actually available, the vegetables. When the vegetables came out, a few veggies were missing. The meat itself was good but did come out cold. Probably because it was prepared beforehand and couldn’t be screwed up.I spoke of my experience with a friend with nearly 20 years experience in the food industry and he states that there is absolutely no excuse for such blatant oversights. The blame here falls squarely on management and ownership of the restaurant. For the prices they charge, serving cold food and incomplete sides is completely unacceptable. Running out of stock on your most popular items is the hallmark of lazy and callous leadership. You would think that a restaurant in a hotspot location, charging premium price, would do everything they can to deliver they best experience possible. The existence of this place shows that’s clearly not the case.Best advice is to avoid at all possible costs and eat elsewhere.
Buckhorn Grill at Palladio is a great place to go for delicious comfort food and a relaxed atmosphere. It's great for groups because each person pays individually when you order. No waiting around for your check so that you can finally leave! The outdoor dining patio is beautiful. The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable.
Local northern California chain that started as a restaurant. They offer a good selection of smoked tritip sandwiches, hamburgers, and other bbq styl dishes. If you are looking for a quick service place with good quality food, then give this place a try.
For fast BBQ, Buckhorn is hard to beat. Tasty and pleasant overall. In particular, Buckhorn has a good outdoor seating option here. And, it's in the Palladio, which is beautiful and always a pleasure to visit. Clean, cheerful, and fun.
Buckhorn is a nice change to typical fast casual dining. The food is always fresh and got. Flavor is king here, and it is the only place I can order the salad as entree. The new garlic fries were cooked perfectly. Still love the fried onion also... the salad makes me feel less guilty. The staff is always friendly as well. Nice place to go when eating out.
Let down. Ribs were tough and fatty. If you want Bbq sauce apparently you have to ask because they didn't give us any. Ceaser need to be packed with more dressing. Tri Tip was the highlight.
Ordered a pulled pork sandwich to go. Staff had me wait 20 minutes all the while my order sat under warming lights.Sandwich was dried out and had no sauce on it. Pretty disappointing.Restaurant was not busy. Don't normally complain but this time was different. Buckhorn Grill needs to do better.
We really liked it wasn't aware you order on walk in but it worked out food was great we arent big drinkers had water it was water ? waiting staff was very taxed and running around like crazy. Spent 75.00 for 5 people 2 kids and 3 adults pretty good I think would go back
