This was my first time coming to Brissa & Co. Food was delicious. I ordered chilaquiles. The serving was huge. Service was great. The server was friendly and very attentive. He checked on us frequently. I highly recommend this restaurant. The best part of this restaurant is that they have a panadera. No way could I eat any Mexican sweet bread after eating the chilaquiles but I did bring some home. I can’t wait to try the concha’s, cochinitos and the empanadas.
Great food and scenery and decorations. Service and organization seems a little lacking, but I hope to keep going back to try new things and hopefully update this.Update after 2 years: I believe food quality has gone downhill, as others have noted. Bakery and service still isn't anything to write home about. However, we still love the drinks and authentic atmosphere.
The ambiance, food, drinks and staff are amazing. I come here every time I am in town. So sad I don’t live close by!
Great service . Nice fusion ideas .The drinks were great. The food was ok the meat was very chewy i had to cut it into even smaller pieces and needed something like Marinate it .. no specific flavor to eat but everything else on the " mar y tierra " plate had good flavor nothing over the top just ok . The chilaquiles were ok too not bad .
Bakery has gorgeous looking sweet bread.Nice selection of beverages.I had the shredded beef tostada and sangria.Can't wait to go back and order the hibiscus flower.
Menu is unclear. I ordered the three carnitas tacos to go expecting three tacos. I was shocked when they charged me $16! Turns out I got three tacos, rice, beans, chips and around seven types of salsa. Kinda cool, but I was just looking for a few tacos. The food was good. I'll probably try it once more, it is a little pricey for me.
I had a Groupon to come here to try this place. Brought my daughter. The place is so cute and our waiter was very friendly.I ordered the mole poblano. I thought it was going to be a stuffed poblano pepper...when it came..it was a side of rice with chicken coveted in mole sauce...not what I expected. The chicken was dry. The mole was really good and so was the rice. For 19.00..I would definitely NOT order thus again. I was not impressed. I gave my daughter half and she did not eat but a couple bites.She ordered the street corn pizza. The flavor was very good but it was under cooked. The cheese was barely cooked and the dough was very soft.I really wished we ordered something else. At least I tried the food...probably would not come back here. There us a place downtown Sacramento that is out of this world goid. I have gone several times and have been wowed each time.Too bad. The pictures looked so good.
Wanted to give it a try because decor was nice. Looked like a nice place. Took my mother and my niece there for dinner.Waiter was polite and professional thought the overall service was below par. They were out of Margaritas on Saturday night, out of the shrimp tequilas appetizer. This was early about 5:30pmThen I went separately to buy my 6 year old niece a dessert. It was $6. I gave the hostess a $20 and she started speaking Spanish to another waitress. Gave my $20 to her and she went to the back with it. Needed change? OK. 5 minutes goes by and she hasn't comeback out. The other lady goes back and finally she appears telling me that she only has $13 change. I guess I was supposed to just accept that.By this time I knew I was never coming back but paid with my card and left a cash tip for the waiter who was nice. $78 on my card, kept the receipt. I find out two days later they charged $93 to my card.They won't get away with it. Avoid this joint. Too many other choices.
2 Star Rating - would be 1 star but the aesthetics of the restaurant are worth 1 star! Arrived middle of noon hour, place was empty but I was not greeted for 5minutes and I eventually sat myself. There was one young man employee who was working every station (bakery, bar, indoor & outdoor) by HIMSELF. I felt bad for this employee bc he had multiple employees working around him yet NOT one employee assisted him as more diners came in. Our food was good, but the tortillas and condiments were brought when we were almost done eating. It’s just a shame to see such a beautiful establishment with such horrible service.
Absolutely amazing food,great customer service & food presentation was great. Will definitely return.
