The post-COVID blues here! Food is definitely not fresh and the place has become dirty. The pink bathroom doors have a brown layer of grime! Service was good, but the food was very bland and the music so loud you couldn’t have a conversation. In dire need of a makeover, but with the very few customers I’m not sure this place will be around much longer. The menu has become so disjointed with an odd variety trying to attract anyone. It’s like a bad version of one of those Robert Irvine rescue candidates.
I called the day before for reservations because we had 8 ppl joining us,but called the day of to add 2 more people. Whoever answered the phone was pretty rude and lazy(2:30 pm). They kept saying, "It's ok, we aren't busy anyway..No one is in the restaurant.."....Strange.Upon arriving (4/11/2022) we were sat after a few minutes by some short lady who really could give damn! For 10 ppl we needed more than 2 tiny tables that were right next to the kitchen, so we asked our server if we could have an extra table-she obliged and moved another table for us. She was actually very attentative and very sweet( I didn't get her name though but she had long black hair & young..5 stars for her-she should be recognized for a good job too!).I got a salad and a quiche Lorraine, the quiche had a very dry and hard crust. ?Towards the end I think our server had to go to another serving area..It was a birthday gathering and after the cake we brought was brought out by someone else we didn't see anyone again..?Kinda sad..
I had a lovely experience at this cafe. My coworker and I decided to have a business luncheon here and it was wonderful. They didn’t rush us to leave. Even after we were done they kept checking to see if we needed anything without making it seem as if we were in the way. The food was delicious, I had the Brie melt, my coworker had the Mediterranean chicken salad. Both were plenty of food for us and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The service was excellent and everything came to the table in a timely manner.
I visit Mimi’s all over. It started with the one in Anaheim and since then whenever I see them. I travel with a travel van club and always make it a point to stop and eat at all the mimis I can when I come across them. This Mimi’s is the cutest one I’ve come across. It has so much character and charm. It feels warm and comfortable. I wish I was around this area more. The food was awesome and service was spectacular. Thank you for the excellent experience.
Service was exceptional. I have food allergies and the waitress ran back a few times to check with the chef on ingredients. The food was really good. An all around great experience.
I had the Corned Beef Hash Benedict. I was quite impressed with the flavor. The Hash plate came out exactly as pictured in the photos in reviews. I would definitely recommend this place to others !!!
Staff were a little bit slow, but the food was delicious. Warm, and delicious omelettes. The Mimosa was wonderful, and the prices were very reasonable. I will be back.
My work had a breakfast meeting here so I now have a recent experience to review--finally. I never really thought of coming to this restaurant before but I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is great and the fireplace makes it cozy. The wait staff was excellent. I drink a lot of iced tea and she was on it every time I emptied my glass; around 6 times in just over an hour. I love, love, love it when someone pays attention to my drink. The food was excellent! I'm definitely curious to try more of the menu and will show up again for sure.
This is a good breakfast/lunch place. I haven’t dined for dinner but I’m sure it’s great. Their food is fresh and their happy hour has great deals.
We love Mimis! Our server Haleigh was awesome! Super sweet and was very patient with my children. Highly recommend trying their pumpkin or Carrot Raisin loaf. Delicious!
