Good Mexican food. If you like tortas I recommend them here. Best torta i have had no lie.
We were weary travelers and looking for a refreshing and filling stop. Just a bit off the highway, it was easy to find...and parking was good. My friend ordered the chili verde with flour tortillas and I had the special of chicken fajitas. The chips and salsa were great. Hot fresh chips and moderately spicy salsa were served quickly, the Chili Verde was tender, extremely flavorful and spicy...while the fajitas were fresh and tasty and very mild. Rice and beans are easy to mess up and these were very good. Beans with just enough chunky beany bits and fantastic flavor and the rice was flavorful and good. Tender thickish corn tortillas top off the meal. Really enjoyed our visit and we will be back again as we.travel this corridor often.
Great home style cooking. Consistently good food and good service. Well priced. It's our favorite Mexican restaurant.
Random stop in was worth it. Asked for some spice and their tomatillo jalapeño sauce did it right.
Definitely one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants around.. The service was excellent and the food is absolutely amazing. I had the chicken mole which was very delicious and the fresh homemade tortillas topped it off. All I can say is wow! If you're in the area you have to give this place a try.
We first came here in the first week they were open (so many years ago) and it became a regular request of our daughter. Sadly the last few years we haven't stopped here much.That was our loss, this place is still as good as it was when it first opened.Food is Great, we have never been disappointed.Servings are more than enough (today's Manudo Chico filled me).And the Staff are all beyond reproach.

Don't wast your time look else-ware. Stale chips, low end store bought tortillas and watered down menudo.Very sad.
This place is SO GOOD!!! Authentic and top notch food.The mole is super delicious. Everything is spectacular! The pickled onions on the side are just the perfect touch, but not every dish comes with them. I think they accompany the enchiladas. The dorado tacos are so crispy. The chile relleno is good. Their fresh made corn tortillas are so thick and hearty without being dry! I could go on. I think the enchiladas and mole are my favorite. Next time I'll make sure to order a side of the pickled onions next time. ?Just go. Eat all the food. Its all GREAT!! And the prices are so reasonable!!! A 3 item plate is $13.50. The mole is $13.50 or $14.50. You really cannot beat this place for the authenticity, quality, price, and taste!!
