We were in Fairfield and stopped in here. We found the business to be clean and well maintained. I ordered a chicken burrito and my wife ordered a chicken taco. We decided to share a large drink. As we waited for our takeout order, we noticed a woman looking a bit befuddled. She finally asked if the drink dispensing machine was working. "Oh, yeah, as long as you get Coke, Fanta, or Sprite." Didn't the guy taking orders think that was a significant thing to share BEFORE you place your order? She asked to exchange for a canned drink and was accommodated. Once we got our food, we opted for Coke since we wanted enough to share. We got to our vehicle and began eating before getting on the road. As my wife enjoyed her taco, I began to realize my simple chicken and cheese burrito came with some bonus bits of gristle. Try washing that down with a syrupy, under carbonated soft drink and you begin to see why the 2-star rating.
Let me just start by saying it's pretty hard to make a bad taco. This is by far and away the worst Taco I've ever had and perhaps one of the worst meals I've ever had in my life. The tacos were actually dripping with grease and had absolutely no flavor. I ordered three ground beef tacos but couldn't get past the second one, my friend that I was eating with took one bite out of the second one and we just put them down as we were already feeling sick. I'm not sure how this place is still in business serving food like this. I was astonished at how bad these tacos actually were. We were probably talking about it for 30 minutes. The picture you see here with tacos still in the rapper is what we left on the tray and could not finish. Absolutely horrible.
Yes, it's expensive. I ordered a steak, cheese, rice and sour cream burrito, extra charge for the rice and sour cream and it is delicious and worth it. I have never had a greasy taco from here either, that's a good thing.You will wait a bit since it is all cook to order, another great thing about this business.Enjoy your meal.
Nothing traditional about these tacos but freaking delicious. So are the basic carnitas tacos. I generally get more and reheat them for a later meal.
First time here after passing it for years. Clean restaurant and restrooms. Not busy. Friendly young staff. Purchased 2 beef tacos..they were good but a bit greasy...I don't do salt and my meat was a bit salty. I will be back to try other items.
I enjoy eating at Jimboy'sTacos,but this was the worst tacos I ate .there was only crumbs of meat very little lettuces. VERY DISAPPOINTING !!! Vand I came from out of town. This is awful.
Originally from Southern Cali, these tacos were recommended by a friend. I didn't know what the hype was because they look like regular tacos ?? Boy was I wrong!! I can't describe the taste but they are DELICIOUS!! don't forget the hot sauce , it gives it an extra kick. just go check it out for yourself. Fast and friendly service, also shout out to the employee who helped me out take my food to my car. (mom of a toddler) didn't get his name but many Thanks!!
There Tacos are so good, the beef was a little salty but over all delicious and the Steak Taco was really good! Oh and try the Shrimp Taco it taste better then any of them. This is the only location I will go to, I have tried the other location not so good!
I kind of don't want to say how awesome this place is because I don't want it to be any harder to get a site. But it truly is great. Nice amenities and nice access to the beach. Super clean too.
Decent fast casual Mexican food. Only issue was I ordered a taco and cheese enchilada combo and received taco and chicken enchilada. Had already gone home. Receipt even said cheese. Pretty good though, better when your order is right.
