A fun and exciting experience, quite the Japanese Steak House show. Excellent, excellent food!! Our chef was wonderful, our waiter was on point with everything. Two of us had "Cowboys n Sailors", filet and scallops prepared perfectly! Two of us had chicken and steak, also perfect. Their fried rice is one of the best. Our experience was 5 star ? ✨️✨️✨️✨️++.

They told us a 30 minute wait.. took 2 hours for the chef to come to us..food was not impressive. 15 minutes after having dinner me and my bf were both in the bathroom with upset stomachs. Thank god we made it to a bathroom. The place was so hot we had to ask for a fan. We were a Party of six and all of us were complaining of heat and my nephew who has asthma had to go outside 3 different times due to no ventilation. Two hours later and our feet are swollen from so much sodium intake. Most definitely will not be back. Not to mention they messed up 2 sushi orders, they don’t let you know fried rice costs extra and they automatically charge for a tip.

Aggressively average for the price.Steak and shrimp was 35, fried rice was a 6 dollar add on and they don't tell you that.Other than that, the food was decent, and the chef cooked everything well. The service wasn't bad, just a bit slow. An 18 percent gratuity was forced for groups. All that being said, I probably wouldn't go back, the places where I live are much better and cost far less.

Got the 5 roll lunch special. The rolls we ok. Soup was nasty. Service was good. Hibachi smelled great! I will go back to give hibachi a try

Waited 5+ minutes upon entry to be acknowledged by staff. Night was not busy in the slightest. I would understand waiting for a table, yet I was not even greeted for 5+ minutes with front-end staff standing near the entrance. After being seated and ordering, I was informed that their card readers were down for the night. Waiter asked if I had cash, and when I said I did not, I was advised to walk across the shopping center to the Chase bank to withdraw funds. No apology just curt service. I will not be back.

We tried Hinata for the first time this weekend for a late lunch. The Pros: the rolls had flavor and the tea was goodCons: Rolls don't indicate they have sauces on them. Two of them I ordered were doused in some sauce that was mayo-based. Had to drown it in soy sauce to eat it. I would have sent it back, but considering how long it took to receive, I didn't know when I would get new ones. As it is, the rolls came out almost 10 minutes after my family's orders.I would hate to see this place if they were actually busy. Service is so slow and had to ask for drink refills after the glasses empty for almost 10-minutes. Never received ginger, wasabi or the little containers for soy sauce; other tables did.Our waitress asked if everything was "ok, so far". We were done and had been waiting for the check. After we paid, we had to wait for her to package a large to go order, bring a roll and our check back. Focus should be on one or two tables at a time as multi-tasking isn't something easily done here. This was our first and last visit.

It is hard for.me.not.to.givw this place five stars because thw food was really tasty and the chef FRED. was fun and supper friendly but.most of all his food had great taste we have visited hamma japan and their competitors in concord benihana and they have somewhat of nicer places but the food hasnt being as good Hinata had better tateinh steaks and shrimp great seasoning ans supper friendly cooks.... on the other hand the service from thw waiter leavem much to hope for. They seemed supper busy, we ordered food and some sushi for appetizer which never made it we got salads but soup never came and didnt bring out sushi unitl we reminded them after we had almost finish I will definitely come back but we will probably be there during the week and we will.make sure to ask for FredTo recap food and cheff 5 stars service 2 stars

Bad service, the environment is bad, workers walk by you like you don’t exist, they want you to wait to be seated but no one talks to you, when you actually get seated no one even bothers to come service you. Food is amazing the first three times I’ve been there but the last two times I’ve tried to go back they just seem to be falling apart. Worse service ever! Never going back.

Nice place to grab a dish but prices are a bit on the high side. They do not offer a spicy chicken plate but you can request a table where they cook your dish in front of you. Their sushi rolls are large in size and they have a wide variety. Overall food taste good but didn't warrant the high bill.

We used to love this place, at least every month if not twice, before COVID. Before today, the last one was March this year, because of servers not wearing their mask properly (mask under the chin, and one of them doesn't really have a mask). We went today hoping they follow the mask mandate but it got worse, at least 3 servers doesn't wear their mask properly. I spoke to one of the gentlemen on the bar (very nice guy), and told him that we feel uncomfortable because of their servers not properly wearing mask. Unfortunately, one of the servers (either related to the owner or part owner) went to our table (still not wearing her mask properly), loudly confronted us.The food is great, that is why we keep coming back. The servers used to be great before COVID. Most likely not coming back for a long time, because one of my kids was terrified for what happened today. I'm not asking for apologies but simply put their mask properly. Prevention is better than cure.On the other hand, I would like to commend and thank the gentleman I spoke with, Sarah and Jocelyn for always wearing their mask properly.
