Our first time having the birria tacos w/dipping sauce. They were pretty good but meat could use a little more seasoning ???
The restaurant seems to be in need of more workers. They had the girl working the register and taking orders also putting the orders together so she was just so busy running back and forth. When we got our salads home we opened it up and one of the salads had a piece of plastic wrap, like the corner of plastic packaging, in the salad. Looked like lettuce with the dressing on it so my Mom, to our horror, pulled it out of her mouth. We went back, we were compensated with another salad and a refund but I think the restaurant just needs more help. It was a mad house, sad for the worker's.
I waited 30 minutes in the drive thru 3/20 and when I got home I only had half my order and the little bit of food I got was wrong. I called and no one answered.Terrible service ! If your family is hungry I suggest you go elsewhere.
Hard and dried chicken on the salads 75% of the time. Waste of $10 each time, will not try it again!
So, I've seen this place for a while and figured I would try it out. I ordered the chicken meal with 2sides. The sides where very good but the grilled chicken looked like it was cooked for a while kind of rubbery. The 2nd time I tried the restaurant I got a salad, soup and taquitosagain the salad and soup was very good but the taquitos was very dry cold like they where cooked in the morning.Overall my experience has been not so good with them. The sides and soups are good but for the main dishes they didn't leave me a good impression.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. The drive- through window staff were rude and dismissive. I greeted them when I arrived at the window and the staff ignored me. I said Happy New Year and the girl closed the window in my face. They got my order right which is the only thing they got right BUT that's where everything went wrong. I ordered the Chicken Tortilla Soup and 2 street tacos. The workers, in their haste to move the line, didn't bother putting the top on the soup properly. By the time I got home, all of my soup spilled in the bag, soaking the condiments and the tacos rendering EVERYTHING inedible. I tried calling the restaurant to report my experience and after 40 minutes of getting a busy signal, I finally reached a live person who put me on hold for another 8 minutes. Someone else came to the phone and the call was mysteriously disconnected as I was telling the last person of my experience. I paid a little more than $16, in cash, and would like a refund but I don't have a receipt because it was ruined when the soup emptied into the bag where the receipt was placed! I'm going to return to the restaurant tonight and request a refund. I can't be ignored in person. I'll update my post to let you all know the outcome. I'm hoping it goes better today than yesterday!
I ordered from Pollo loco in the drive through took my order home for me and my kids and when I got home I found a big long brown hair on my burrito my daughter starting wondering about her food, and there was a short black hair in her Mac and cheese… super gross specially in this pandemic times, I called the store and the manager answered and all what they can tell you is “SORRY” really !! People need to be more careful.. ?
Family tried the 3 new salads. Everyone liked them...with coupon one was free. As always employee at window friendly and professional.
The first and last time I'll be going there. Worst experience I've had at any of the Pollo Loco restaurants. I went through the drive-through on a Sunday about 3PM, I ordered a Chipotle Chicken Avocado Burrito, it was stone cold and tasted like eating chile powder straight out of the jar. I also ordered the 3 Taco El Carbon Combo, it was stone cold, it looked like someone took the container and shook it, the chicken was separated from the tortillas, the tortillas taste like raw flour mix, and the letture was wilted. I return the order immediately and asked for a refund. All I can say is I hope you have a better experience there than I did . Good Luck ! Fairfield, CA
Healthy eating, food taste so good. I ordered the Double Chicken Tostada Salad. Customer service was great, quantity of food for the price was reasonable. I tell everyone about this El Pollo Loco in Fairfield.
