Visiting home had to hit up DAVES. OMG!!! Living in Tennessee you forget how amazing a daves burger is.I took my daughter there for the first time in her 15 yrs. The picture is the exact moment she fell in love with DAVES GIANT BURGERS. Her exact words were" mom seriously you introduced me to in-N-out BEFORE DAVES??I COULD'VE BEEN EATING DAVES ALL THESE YEARS!"needless to say Daves will be a first and last stop for all future visits home.
Dave’s Giant Hamburger is right next to a baseball field. On the fence it is surrounded by beautiful flowers that you can even smell the aroma of the flowers, including the California state flower; the California poppy ( it is illegal to pick btw so don’t! Lol). All of the workers are very nice and patient, they cook the food right in front of you so if you’re paranoid- don’t be! The food was fresh and hot. They got it to us quick too! There aren’t many seats inside, so if you’re a quick eater (to avoid flies) and the weather is nice I recommend eating outside. This is a gem in Fairfield. P.s. There’s plenty of parking spaces in the parking lot by the way.
2-22-22 Wooooo this place is awesome! Talk about clean & cozy! The burgers are cooked to your choice of thoroughness and there are fresh veggies and shakes of more than 10 flavors! You like homestyle burgers you'll love these! They have chili and tots too!! The desserts are well made and everything is delicious! Must come here!! I have pics of a cheeseburger (looking like a commercial grade burger) and a toffee/chocolate chip dessert!
Classic burger spot. Best in town. Delicious shakes, pies and burgers. Now they have tots which are tasty.
The burgers and shake and almost everything is good but the omelet is not good it's literally overcooked egg with kraft cheese very skinny omelet too. I love this place but the omelets is not your best item shredded cheese would make a difference.
Dave's Heimburgers have been a Fairfield Favorite for as long as I can remember. Burgers are very flavorful. If you like milkshakes they have several different flavors. Anytime you're driving through Fairfield and need a BIG bite to eat, stop at Dave's.

To be totally honest this place has gone downhill since Dave died but the burgers are still not that bad. The staff is still very nice and very friendly and the options for pies and cakes has really dwindled.
Classic. Have been eating there ever since I was a child. Always good, and a little messy in a good way. No fries but they do serve tots lol and great shakes.
What a great burger! Indoor and outdoor seating in a nice atmosphere. Your burger is made fresh and you get grilled onions if desired or sliced with no up charge.
