As a recommendation from some locals at the Humboldt Cider Tap House, we checked this place out. They did have good options on tap and we had a side of fries with Buffalo Sauce. I did see the salads on the menu and would have gone in that direction if this is where we we going to have dinner. We have been to Eureka 3 times since 2017 and this was a first for us. I do hope to come back and try more yummy food from this location. They are also a rare place in town to be open on a Monday or Tuesday, so if you're looking for some good food, beer, cider or mixed drinks... check this place out.

Fire Cracker shrimp Tacos are Off the Chain Good! Our party of 7 sat in the back, there was a shuffle board. Local on tap. Waitress was far above expectations! Took our entire order of group by memory. Some even added or changed things. Not only did all of our food come out amazing, she did not forget one thing to include who ordered what. Great Art work!
Had lunch with my wife and we very pleased. We we greeted and seated promptly and we ordered shortly thereafter.Her: Clam Chowder and Fish&ChipsMe: Firecracker Shrimp and Fried Oysters and ChipsMy shrimp were quite cruchy on the ouside and very tender on the inside and the salsa that came with it was awesome! The oyster's batter coating was light and crispy, the oysters retained all their original flavor.My wife's fish and chips (that she grudginly shared with me) were equally well prepared.Definitely a 5 star meal.
Dont let the sketchy location deter you. Whether it be 12pm or 12 am this place is always a good choice. Service and food are great. The drink selection is vast.

Best clam chowder which did not have overloaded potatoes like other clam chowders. Great fried oysters & chips. Loved the big shrimp tacos. Gotta check this place out.
BEST Fish & Chips in Humboldt. Hubby loves the Vista Burger (spot-on med. Rare as requested)...all that and Space Dust IPA on tap.

No nonsense great spot. Space feels comfortable and welcoming. I am sure this is a staple for locals, and if visiting you should definitely give it a try. The seafood was good as one might imagine being so close to the water.
