A very good cheesesteak shop and a pleasant surprise to find it here in this remote corner of California. I wish the sides were as good as the sandwiches. The fries, in particular, were soggy and disappointing. So, now I just order sandwiches and I am happy.
Great place great people working there super friendly. Excellent cheesesteaks with many varieties. I wish I lived closer.

all these great reviews, not this one. the lady was super nice, but this is about the food. when this place first opened down at 5th and G, it was to die for! after it moved, it was always hit and miss. this time was a huge miss! i had the garlic mushroom + mayo and a large fry and my husband had the mushroom no onion + mayo and chili cheese fry. the meat on both was WAYYYYY over done. no juiciness whatsoever, and you would think that with the mayo they would have been deliciously juicy and moist phillies. the chili cheese fries, the chili looked just like the beans came right from the can of beans and the flavor was inedible. my fries were soggy and barely warm. i hope they can get back to what they used to be, 31 bucks down the drain. if you decide to eat here, i wish you all the luck.
I enjoyed the sandwich I ate. Nice little dive environment with arcade pac man games and friendly staff.
Kinda of tasted like the frozen meat from the supermarket microwaved on a bun.Kind of pricey for nothing special.
