Terrific food, the solo waitress was amazing. There was a extremely loud customer that kept hollaring across the restaurant at the waitress consistently. Somehow the waitress kept her cool and stayed on top of all the other customers needs as well. I started to give a 4 star review because of the other "Everybody needs to know my business" customer . So that's not on the restaurant or staff so I upgraded to 5 star's as they deserve. We'll be back soon.
This place has it all. Late 80's flair, houseplants, great service, and excellent traditional dishes like Mongolian beef, or sans meat dishes. Clean, welcoming, and super comfortable booth tables for dinner with friends and family. I really dig the 80's architecture paired with the music, I mean, where else can you have a filling meal of Asian cuisine, while listening to Bruce Springsteen or Prince? A true coastal 80's time capsule gem. Thank you Panda Cafe!
I had the orange chicken and my wife had the lemon shrimp with hot & sour soup. Soup had strong vinegar and white pepper taste, which isn’t bad. Had to add soy sauce to cut the taste; wife was not impressed. Lemon and orange sauce was ok. Shrimp is the typical breaded and deep fried kind. Orange chicken was ok. Nothing spectacular but it was edible.
It was okay, with am very disappointed about the amount of cream on the walnut shrimp my girlfriend and I weren't even able to eat it I've never been served food slathered in that much sauce before and I'm lactose intolerant I would have appreciated a warning on the menu about it. Instead I'm twice as hungry and out of money.
Panda Cafe is my favorite place to get Chinese food. They are all so friendly and take thier time on making such great food. Im never disappointed with the food and service.
I took one bite and left. This place has major quality control issues food was very off.tasted old rotten and botched seasoned not sure how anyone eats this. smell of the place and food is still in my nose hours later ran by eldery couple who needs to retire this kitchen needs to be shut down deep cleaned and a full staff hired you can always oversee the kitchen without being the cook and host at the same time nice lady but this restaurant is well over due to be inspected throughly and food quality and storage procedures revamped. Better to oversee a thriving business then to follow the sinking ship down. Fair warning eat at your own health risk

Two stars, because the general American Chinese food was really good, but this place was seriously understaffed. I suspect there's managerial and wage related issues with employment. The poor waitress was having to do nearly all of it herself for the whole restaurant aside from cooking. I won't be coming back. Whoever thought employing only two people for the whole restaurant was a good idea needs to rethink their business strategies and give better conditions to their workers. Actually, this place only gets one star out of me.
First we were treated as if we didn't have enough money to pay for the food that we were trying to order.. But I had just driven 5 hours and over 300 miles and I was hungry. When we ordered 2 orders of an appetizer and the lady kept behaving as if we could not pay for it again and it was the sample platter,, but two of them. She only brought out one tiny portion of sweet-and-sour sauce for 2 orders of the sample dishes and looked all surprised or anxious when I asked can you please bring some more sweet-and-sour sauce. Since I had just driven up 5 hours I just wanted to get some food to go so we ordered the dinner for 2 and ordered an additional plan additional plate beef broccoli to go with it. The total came to nearly a $100 when we got to the hotel and opened the food in the food the beef broccoli was a 95% broccoli and 5% beef. There were no spoons no forks no chopsticks we specifically had asked for chopsticks and had she joked about it And we had wonton soup and there was no spoons. It was very frustrating and disappointing. I wouldn't est here again.
People were nice. Food was ok. Not the best quality meat.But sauce was good.
