Amazing food and great beer prices!!
Went out looking for a good Mexican place because I am not too thrilled with the one closest to where I live. I let Google make some suggestions based on location and the first place I tried was great.Super quaint and lovely decor, I was greeted by friendly staff and immediately shown to a table. Angelica came by with menus and info and gave me some suggestions as a first timer.I opted for the Empanada, and was lucky because Stacy who also was helping out told me I could go half and half with the red sauce/green sauce. The food is absolutely delicious and clearly authentic and homemade. The chips were fresh and the cabbage salsa is to die for!So I had the pork in the empanada and it was tender and moist, well seasoned and not too salty. Full of flavor and juicy goodness.I am happy to say the prices were fair and with a lovely pineapple cider and tip I was out the door for about $25. Stuffed. Highly recommend this local family-run gem.
O.M.G! Loved eating here!! The salsa is amazing! The chips were great! I had fajitas cuz I was lazy and the homemade tortillas reminded me of New Mexico! Soo good!! Service was excellent and we left full!! Totally recommend!!
Fantastic food and great staff. Took the time to explain all of the difference authentic dishes and drinks. And because we were on our motorcycles and wanted one of the Mexican drinks to go she was able to give it to us in a mason jar. Fantastic service highly recommend if I live closer I would eat here all the time.
Hands down the best authentic Mexican food I've had. It was amazing with local ingredients and hand made shells. The staff are amazing!
Stopped here on our way back from Redwoods state park, goood portions and authentic mexican food. Would like to visit again!
Had the chile relleno plate with charro bean & husband had carnitas burrito. So bland & the salsa on the table was gross. Nothing had flavor but the charro beans. Thankfully no one came to ask us how the food was.Dang it!! Cocina Mariposa for being closed today ? We wasted our money on Pachangas!!
The best hommade tortillas! Excellent service, plenty of great food and nice location is easy to find. Smaller parking lot, but lots of room inside! Family owned for a long time and they always take care of you :)
I really wanted to love this place but the straw that broke the camels a back was seeing with my own eyes some jalapeno poppers falling on the ground in their open kitchen where every one can see, and plating them again once more. I do not believe in the 5 second rule when it comes to my food on the ground.
We did not care for this style of Mexican food. Salsa was flat and contained a lot of cabbage. Queso looked like watered down cheddar but had no flavor at all. They did not have lettuce in any dish; only used cabbage. Service was great and servers were very friendly.
