Huge kudos to Crystal the Caker at Old Town Coffee and Chocolates in Henderson Center. We asked for a gluten-free pink champagne cake with a unicorn and glitter theme and she delivered this amazing creation! It was beautiful, delicious, and you wouldn’t know it was gluten free if we didn’t tell you! Wowza!!! ???????

So so so slow. Cashiers don't know what the baked goods are. Nothing is labeled. Mystery muffins.
The coffee is very good, just like the sister store in old town. They also have a larger selection of baked goods which is a plus. On the other hand there is no place to sit indoors. The place is small and the seating is closed off due to the pandemic. There are two small tables outside that can be used if the weather is good. But overall it just doesn't have the feel of a place that welcomes people to hang out, have coffee, talk, and socialize. Something Eureka desperately needs more of, especially at night.
A well established coffee shop that operates in both Old Town Eureka and Henderson Center. Great customer service, fantastic selection and competitive prices! A Humboldt County staple no doubt ☕

I had a gift card to there and so I went before work, didn’t realize I was going to be late with how long they took. First of all my drink was wrong, but I was fine with it. The thing that really bothered me was I couldn’t even eat the food they handed out after I waited so long for it, the bagel was sitting in “strawberry jam?”. Looks more like strawberry purée to me, but anyways my bagel was soaked. A soggy bagel I couldn’t even eat and a wrong drink? Hmmm I don’t think I’ll be going back.
