Overall great experience. Restaurants are hit or miss in the area, but this one is worth a try. Good food and friendly staff.
The chicken tacos are amazing there juicy and have a lot of flavor definitely recommend
Food is at a low quality been to most of the Mexican restaurants in eureka ca. this one was a bummer, food with no taste waitress was good quality of food taste sucked sorry for the bad review but it was it was no wonder this building has gone through so many different Mexican restaurants with no long term quality ownership
It's not right to serve a dish containing seafood without a citrus wedge as garnish, this includes burritos. Even if it were just carne asada I would want that included, but with something containing seafood it's an especially bad oversight. If they can't keep lime or lemon in stock to serve as a garnish they should probably just eliminate all seafood from the menu. I noticed the flour tortilla used for my burrito was of poor quality. It was a little stale, I think. The tortilla chips were average, but would probably benefit from being heated before being served. The chicken tacos dorado were especially terrible. Besides being bad tasting and dry, it had the worst chicken broth served alongside it. It tasted like sour *raw* chicken juice. Guacamole was flavorless. I also found it a little strange how you have to ask for a hot sauce and there are none on the table other than the sauce that comes with the chips when dining in. An unfortunate restaurant experience. I was ill after I ate here and it caused me to vomit.
Excellent chili rellenos!!! (Not so much fish taco, though, fell apart.) Soups are great, too. Nice people.
I enjoyed the atmosphere, the music selection of new artists, the churros, the sope/gorditas, and the service. Excellent experience. Ask for the pickled red onions.
Service was terrible, my food was oily and missing items from menu description, came for the fish and they were out, overall a bad experience
My family’s from Mazatlan and we were really excited to eat here on our trip. The store wasn’t open. The sign that mentioned their temporary closure was out of date. Wish they could update their signage and website to account for this misinformation.
