I used to LOVE going here! But that has changed unfortunately. They serve moldy food then only offer 10% off of that item!!!!! Thought I would finally give them another try after 6 months only to be disappointed yet again! I ordered a BLT plus avocado and when I received it it had 1 tiny sliver of avocado that was very brown and black burnt bacon with no tomato at all!!!!!

Run of the mill diner, been there for years, with a devoted following. Both sets of friends from Eureka recommended it. Large portions at reasonable prices.

While passing through Eureka, CA enroute to Crescent City, CA we begrudgingly stopped at a "sit down" restaurant. In an attempt to avoid a chain establishment, we picked what looked like a mid grade, average Joe kind of Cafe. The service was boutique restaurant quality. The atmosphere was unassuming and welcoming to all who wish to dine... The food... NEXT LEVEL wonderful. The steak was tender, perfectly cooked, juicy, and charred to perfection. The Scampi was prepared flawlessly and even the chicken gumbo was a pleasant surprise. The chicken Alfredo is now my wife's favorite dish... This place is an absolute gold mine! Please don't waste your time on the Applebee's or Denny's a few blocks away. This place deserves all the love!

Kristina's restaurant has been the best place I have been in a long time! In many senses the whole experience was much better than expected. The food is delicious!! Make yourself a favor and save some space for dessert!! I recommend the apple pie with Ice cream simply the best!!I am not overreacting when I say the waitress was the BEST we could have possibly asked. She was attentive, she knew the menu and made recommendations, she was coming ocasionally to check on us, and had a really good attitude and mood, we couls see she she loves her job and that totally improved our lunch as well. The ambiance of the restaurant takes you to the 60's which is a perfect experience and goes well with the food they offer.I loved the main dishes we tried, and the music they had on.I was on Eureka to run a half marathon. I had flown from 3hrs Mex to SFO, then drove another 4 hrs to Eureka. But trust me, I would do it all over just to get to try that dessert again.

I decided to visit Kristina’s this time, its located at 250 W 5th St, Eureka, CA 95501, right next door to Best Western plus Inn. The food at this restaurant has surprisingly impressed me, to the point I am doing this review. At first impression, I was not impressed with this restaurant. It seemed to be just a standard family-oriented restaurant that you can find anywhere in Eureka, or throughout California. Upon entry I was greeted by Esther, my waitress, who promptly seated me at a table with my friend.Although, they do not carry peanut butter, I was able to finally settle on the country skillet. Which is normally scrambled eggs, green onions, country cut fried potatoes, topped with country gravy. I changed mine up a little bit, and had eggs over medium, instead of scrambled, and hashbrowns instead of country potatoes. I have to say that when my food first arrived I was not impressed, it looked like a regurgitated vomit from a newborn. To my surprise, it was very delicious. While I was eating Esther, ensured that my glass was never empty of my drink.Esther, Abbie, Paige, and other employees of Kristina’s restaurant are very friendly, welcoming, and professional. It is there engagement with me during my meal, shortly after my meal, and their attentiveness to my needs, and the delicious food, that will ultimately drive my decision to return to this establishment. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of food, customer care, and friendliness of the staff.Do yourself a favor and stop by Kristina’s restaurant for some amazing hospitality mind will only good food, you sure will be glad you did. While you’re there, say hi to Paige, Esther, and Abbie and mention this review.

Great food and friendly atmosphere. A+

Went for breakfast with my mom. Mine was great. Her chicken fried steak tasted like it was in the freezer to long. Mine was tasty though

1st time at this resturant. I had the Chicken fried steak with huge sliced up and fried pieces of potatoes with chopped green onions sprinkled generously on top all covered by a blanket of creamy hot country sausage gravy over the whole plate! Good food very filling. Attentive service and nice atmosphere.

I had extreme hashbrowns. It was so good and plenty for another meal. I will be back!

Was in town for work, needed a recommendation. Google searched for seafood, and they were on the list. Turns out they do have seafood, it’s all the breaded and fried varieties. No bueno.Except one dish - the salmon dinner. It was the only “non fried” seafood they had. It was a good portion size, it was way overdone and dry.Staff were good and pleasant, food came out quick. Older facilities but clean and well cared for.Has that “diner” feel like you’d see in movies. Counter seats, you can see the short order cooks, booths with locals, etc.
