Love helping out to bring in bouquets from my garden that was also my Mother's established English garden for many years. Golden Harvest is my brother Sean's restaurant, so I am a bit biased. We are all great cooks and bakers in my family. My Mother was an amazing cook, so I think it was something passed down from our mother. Golden Harvest continues a long tradition of excellence in homemade down to earth cooking! Keep up the good work, GH!!!
Great little spot to pop in and eat a delicious breakfast while on the road. Super friendly staff and nice hot coffee.
The food is good, the place is nice and the waitress, Amber L., works EXTREMELY hard. She was the only server working the day I ate there. It was busy and understaffed, but she still served amazingly!
I have tried the majority of the menu and the food is fair-good quality but the pricing is too high for breakfast. The price you pay also does not match the menu, so buyers beware (see receipt and menu item price difference) You will likely not spend less than $22 for a single meal after tax as a single person given that the majority of the menu items are >$14 dollars. They do provide a large canter of coffee which is nice (see photo) and their breaded chicken and eggs Beni is nice. They use Portland brand ketchup, which is a positive also. The booths need to be re-filled with cushion, so get ready to flex your glutes. Parking can be fun when the place is packed and large groups (e.g., >6 people) will not work out easily unless you want to sit outside. Overall, I recommend looking around if you interested in eating with your family and if you want to spend this same amount of money on higher quality food, then I suggest driving an extra 10-15 min to Arcata to eat at one of the many breakfast locations.
Had a good breakfast. The server was very nice. Food came out quick. Perfect size portions. I liked the organic ketchup. Would eat here again.
One of the best places to get a good breakfast in the area!! Consistently good food and service! I can't think of a time that I've been here in the past 15 years or so and not enjoyed it. Very few places like this in Humboldt. Highly recommend!
Oh how I love biscuits and gravy, but I have reduced my consumption of red meat. Golden Harvest Cafe has the answer with delicious tofu sausage in a smooth cream gravy paired with two fluffy tender biscuits. They have created my all time favorite comfort food in line with my dietary needs. The coffee is divine, with REAL cream! I will look forward to stopping here again.
If I could give a zero star rating I would. The fried potatoes were obviously cooked on a dirty grill and tasted like a grill cleaning brick. There were brown avocados on one of the eggs and there was so little hollandaise sauce as to not even be there. The hash browns were under cooked. The order was wrong too. I asked for no tomatoes and got them anyway. At $18.00 per order, delivery fee, taxes and tip, I wasted $55 for nothing but an upset stomach. I will never order from here again and will encourage others not to as well.

Wow guys! They put cornflakes on their French toast and it works soooooo well. I love the food here. So flavorful and simple at the same time. Very warm and busy atmosphere. Lots of vegetarian options and they’re all good. If you have a thing for hot coco like I do, you’ll LOVE the hot coco from here.
