Pretty expensive for just okay burgers and fries. $26 for two people!We each got a burger basket and they came with about 12 small crinkle cut fries (like the frozen kind). The burgers were just okay.I don’t recommend the gf bun unless you like a hard brick bun.We live close by but won’t be back.
We so love getting burgers from Stars! The flavor is above board. The best french fries and buns in town. Great place to eat and support local. Always friendly and fast service.

Good burgers, nicely sized proportions and several varieties of burgers. Drawbacks are only a single refill on sodas, and the dining room, parking lot is pretty small
Fresh ingredients. Really good food. Good service and affordable. The burgers are juicy though, like Carl's Jr get all over the place juicy.
The kids were asking for a burger on our trip through the redwoods. What a find! This is not one of those places where they try and compensate for a lack of flavor by giving you a huge mountain of a burger and hope you don't notice the flavor got left out. The burgers are a perfect size, packed with flavorful ingredients. My wife and I shared a side salad, and she commented that even their tomatoes were very flavorful. On the way out the door, I saw that they locally source most of their ingredients, including their beef and tomatoes. I can see why they've won best burger in town for over 30 years. Our kids definitely left satisfied.
Super friendly crew. Food was just okay. Ordering two burger baskets for twenty some bucks and tipping $20 got us meat that was tough and chewy and fries were sparse and basic and two little cokes. My favorite part was the bun (seriously, buns are wonderful). We couldn't finish the burgers from all the gristle. Maybe it was just a one off but I won't be back to find out.
I found the burger to be quite a bit under seasoned, good bacon. I guess I’m not a fan of whole wheat buns. The fries weren’t bad. Parking is a bit hazardous…
