Being a native Texan, it is always a challenge to find authentic flavorful home cooked Mexican meals. I had their Chile Verde plate today and the beans were so fresh and tasty they reminded me of my Abuelita’s (Granny’s) Chile Verde and rice were on point. Definitely recommending to my friends and returning when I’m feeling a little home sick ?If you’re looking for a down home Mexican meal, check ‘em out.
...and there were none to be had until later so we ordered up, waitress brought the menus and they stuck to the table, brought obligatory chips and salsa, chips were soggy and the salsa tasted ''off'', waitress said they would make some fresh but never did, at least not while I was there...
The food is always delicious and done in a timely manner. We used to dine in frequently as our date night spot, and were never disappointed. Since all the covid stuff they only do takeout now, but i swear they do great with it. My husband and i are alway iffy about takeout because most of the time the food isnt as fresh, or its not very hot, or its soggy. Not from here though! Its always as good as when we used to dine in, and all of there staff are very friendly!
Simply the best! They 100% live up to their name. From the freshness and authenticity of their food, they take pride in serving the best and go above and beyond for their customers. You won’t find another like this place!
I love Esmeralda’s! It’s my long time fav!Super nachos are great and you can’t go wrong with $1 soft tacos special when you buy a soft drink to go with the tacos. If I’m really hungry for a delicious dinner I like the Carne Asada rice and besn dinner. The creamy Queso cheese dip is Yummy and don’t forget the Abuelita Chocolate Lava Cake!
Not only is their food AMAZING, their customer service is absolutely incredible! They genuinely care about their customers and make sure they have a great experience, even through their takeout! Not to mention their DOLLAR TACOS with purchase of one drink?! Everyday! An absolute steal because those tacos are quality and delicious! Y’all are missing out if you don’t stop by here! ?
Great food! I love the carnitas taquitos. Right?! Who has carnitas taquitos? Esmeralda's does! They have some great deals like the bang for your buck dozen enchiladas, pint of rice, pint of beans for $30. They even deliver. Hidden gem near Henderson Center.
Could you please explain to the community why you support carol baskin. I’ve been meaning to come to your restaurant since it reopened but now I’m getting bombarded with ads on YouTube of carol basking advertising your restaurant. Couldn’t you have picked anyone else? To be honest a homeless person would have been a better pick than carol baskin and you know how eureka is.
