It's been a few years since I've previously been to Brick and Fire, but it's still just as great. I love that their menu is seasonal, one of the dishes that I had was the peach caprese salad and it was perfect, fresh peaches, basil, soft mozzarella with arugula and greens. They always have great things on their menu, wonderful for light meals, but they have great entrees that are more filling as well
We came in to town late and hustled right down to this hot spot. We called ahead to ensure a table and the server helped us choose a perfect menu to share. They are known for their mushroom cobbler appetizer and the best thing I can say about it is it needs to come in dinner size portion! Delicious! We shared the Brick Bird and Grilled Caesar (add Kobe steak) and used the bread to mop up the sauce! All was delicious and our server was fantastic!
Great setting and food is always good. I love the wood fired oven pizza and the chopped salad, add fried egg and olives. They have a nice wine selection and the food comes out hot and ready for nom nom. I would highly recommend reservations.
A cozy warm atmosphere. The only reason I'm not giving them a 5 star rating is the calamari appetizer we ordered was the smallest skimpiest appetizer I've ever seen. Definitely skip this it was miniscule and not worth the hefty price. The pizzas we tried were delicious! Fresh, unique and flavorful worth every bite. Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely a local gem.
Great little place in an area that’s hard to find good quality food. Excellent gastric experience. The staff are a great hustle crew and work like a machine together. This place will go on my lists of places to hit up on my travels through Humboldt county.
I love the intimate atmosphere & the food was so good. We had a reservation and our table was ready for us when we arrived. Good beer choices on tap!
Our server Allison made it an amazing and memorable meal and everything she brought out was spectacular. Before we had even started with our Appetizer ()Wild Mushroom Cobbler), we had been delivered a bread basket containing this amazing Focaccia Bread which worked really well with the house Balsamic Syrup. For our Entrees we had the Italian Mac & Cheese and a Fresh Peach & Pancetta Pizza (featuring local Humboldt County Goat Cheese). Dessert was an Espresso flavoured Creme Brûlée. Molto, molto, molto buono!!! Thank You.
The Go-To restaurant in Eureka! Handsdown one of the best culinary experiences we've had in some time. Started with the Brie/Mushroom appetizer before moving on the the main courses. The Fettina steak with au gratin potatoes was simply phenomenal! My wife went with the Fire Roasted Bird served with sunflower and sesame rice pilaf...another insanely tender and flavorful dish. The recommended wine pairings were spot on! Kudos to the chef and the entire staff on such a great experience...Oh how we wish we had a Brick and Fire in our home town!!
Very small well appointed restaurant with several vegetarian options. The meals have a European flair. One of our party had a brie and mushroom starter that would have held its own in Switzerland. The food was worth the price. Our 6 pm reservation was met with completely full tables! Wait staff was very personable and attentive. They have extensive wine and beer offerings. A very pleasant experience overall.
Tucked away on a corner in a residential neighborhood is Brick and Fire (a bistro).About 10 tables, counter seating next to the brick fireplace oven, it's a small, casual establishment that delivers gigantic flavors!Dishes are meticulously crafted, flavor mosaics, complex, subtle yet excitable sensory eruptions. Superb staff attentiveness and cordiallity. Reservations highly recommended.
