Japanese Italian Sushi Bar

We were a large group on Father's day and came here because virtually no place eles was open. We were told we could be accomodated. We were seated outside in a cold, shady windy area and froze as we waited patiently for any food. While the waitress was professional the service was not. It didn't appear that anyone was in charge. Food came out sporadically but we sat in the cold for close to 2 hours before our main course arrived. My sushi never did. Nearly ever one else was finished and wanted to leave when we finally got our order. The tempuras were given high marks. Oddly this place has Japanese food and some Italian dishes. The beef portions were overly generous - one could feed two or three people. The tofou mains were swimming in a weird sauce. The fried rice was tasty. The waitress later admitted there was only one cook so o wonder it was such a disaster.

We made reservations over a month ago for our party of 22. We go there and had them hold the cake which they charge for. Not a problem. It is what it is. But they brought out the wrong cake twice. Asked for water several times instead of getting water they took my cup away. Usually you get a little show and they interact with the guests even catch some broccoli. Instead they cooked our meal and told my daughter happy birthday and left. The portions were smaller than before and there was no show no fun. Then we had to figure out the bill and as we were trying to pay they told us we had to leave they had other guests. It was never amazing service but it was kind of disappointing. Too bad.

Great location and great food! Service was excellent 4 stars

I just love this place! In the best it's not always the best service as sometimes their are new employees being trained or they are slammed but I honestly don't care I love the food and the location. The staff always seems stressed but they maintain kindness! I LOVE the volcano roll! This is a lovely date night spot if you can catch the sunset on the water. My favorite restaurant hands down!

This was a wonderful treat after a long hiking trip through the Redwood National Park. It offered lots of delicious menu choices. I was very pleased with the Chef's choice Sushi Special, and Roll I had ordered.*All food was well prepared and hit the spot.*Atmosphere was cozy for a date, and positive with three different families celebrating birthdays.*ALL Staff were professional, courteous, well dressed, and all that you should expect from a place worth pulling over to eat, and feel ready for whatever adventure comes next. Cheers!

Very fresh seafood, well prepared, friendly staff, beautiful view, family friendly, seafood and Italian options, prompt service, fair pricing.

I've eaten here several times over the years. Returned for family visit to have dinner here. Ordered several different menu items and all were excellent with large portions. Service was outstanding. If Japanese food is not your thing then try their Western World dishes. Overall excellent Experience and would continue to return. Thank You Michael San Bruno, CA

100% best dining in the area. Lauren was our server, she was so very kind, professional, attentive, well-dressed, and definitely deserves a major shout out. The restaurant is beautiful, modern mariner atmosphere, clean and elegant. The location is great! Overlooking the bay, views of the docks, the island, and ocean. The food was outstanding, I got 2 California rolls and the teriyaki grilled chicken lunch, first was a salad with dressing that I have to believe is housemade, sweet, savory, mustard and sesame. A simple Japanese style salad, greens, cucumber, tomato, and shredded cabbage and carrots. The California rolls were made with the utmost care, tightly rolled, fresh ingredients, phenomenal especially considering I just ordered basic California rolls. The chicken, thin and tender (keeping it tender is the hardest thing to do when a cut is thin and cooked hot and fast so props to the chef!) Grilled and lightly charred, a thick sweet teriyaki glaze over a bed of fresh thinkly sliced cabbage, the side options are fried rice which was amazing, I got steamed white rice, my fried sample was courtesy of my guest, it was fresh made and fantastic. The meal, the atmosphere, and again the service... I can't stress enough what great service we had. Lauren was perfect. What's more, she was also handling a table of 5 with the worst behaved toddler I've ever had the displeasure of seeing. This kid literally ran laps around the table while screaming "running running running" the parents told him to sit he would sit and go back to it, over and over. Were I in Lauren's position, I'd have lost my patience. She kept her composure, served us all promptly and kindly, truly this person deserves a medal. Thank you for your fantastic service Lauren, and everyone there. We will be back.

The first night the food was absolutely spectacular! We returned a few days later with friends and it was barely edible.
