This will always be a favorite taco place for me. I am obsessed with the tacos de adobada. I order them with everything (onions, cilantro, and the green sauce). The workers are so nice here and the drive through is convenient when it’s short. To-go is available.Try coming here during less busy times! Be prepared for a wait during lunch and dinner times. Worth it, but don’t expect a table.Pro tip: order a mulita of your favorite meat if you love cheese! It will be what’s in your usual taco with cheese and made in between two tortillas!
Great Tacos, worth a visit!Quick ServiceSalsa wasn’t spicy or very flavorful, and for me this is worth 2 stars.. next time I visit I’ll bring my own..The tacos taste great, I got the following 5 tacos.Cabeza ****Lengua ***** ?Tripa **Suadero **Buche ****Good thing is they have a drive through but you will be waiting a bit..
Amazing tacos!!!! Get the adobada .
I wasn't sure if I should get carne asada fries, or adobada fries. Turns out you can do half and half. It was so amazing, the fries were great and the meat was very flavorful and cooked very well. Very happy with TJ Tacos, would go back
It was a BAD experience ?. On Google say it was open for DINE IN . We drove 2 city's over . We got there and it was only drive through. One of the ladys worker come out . And as I was telling her that she needs to tell her manager to update the information on Google she just close the door on me with a attitude. Thank God we find a place near by to eat and the workers were really nice . As for me and my family ? don't think we will came back this tacos . We would take our business were we are tread it right. We were not asking for free food we deserve to be tread it right. And I don't think even if people were down in hard times and were asking for food should never be tread it like that .
Really excellent food. Reminds me of Gordo's down in National City. Separate lines for each type of taco, and they are are really good, well seasoned\sauced and tasty.
The food is always tender, fresh and tasty. One of the other best parts is they give a great portion, even though it is a street taco. We had the beef tongue, adobada and steak. They make their own tortillas and pull the meat right from the pan or slice it from the rotisserie. Another important feature, they keep it clean - the dining area, the tables, the floor and the bathroom. This is a great place for Tacos and burritos. I will definitely go back many more times.
Guacamole is tasteless. Far from TJ taste or style. Went for carne asada fries and got them within 1 minute?.found so much fat it wasnt even funny. Had to ask for more guac and cheese cause it was a skimp. Negative reviews aren’t my thing, but if they really matter this would be taken into consideration and worked on.
A friend told my hubby about this place, so we checked it out while vacationing in the area. I had the asada tacos and hubby got an adobada burrito. They were delicious! There were several other things on the menu I’d like to try, so we’ll be back when we’re in the area again. This is a no frills place, very casual, and the food is AMAZING. If that’s your jam, go now!
We have not been here in about 3 years. They are still one of the best taco spots I have ever eaten at. I love the tacos de adobada. Currently at $2.80 each taco except for the Lengua is at $3.05. They have great flavor but be sure to get them with all the fixings. My wife got her usual 3 tacos de buche, cabeza and tripa. My boy got his usual 3 tacos de carne asada, no fixings. If you like the grilled onions and jalapeños, ask for them at the counter where they make your tacos.
