The atmosphere was great, if you're only looking to drink the lady at the bar was awesome !! the gentleman that brought their food was great!! But the food was NOT GREAT, no flavor the ceviche sooo much big chunks of tomato just no flavor on the tacos or ceviche. ( your cooks need to do better )
They have TUESDAY NIGHT KARAOKE so much fun
It's too bad we we're only visiting SD otherwise I would have really loved to check out their little night club they have at night's! We found this restaurant through yelp. I ordered the shrimp fajitas that unfortunately were not well seasoned and the shrimp were very rubbery. The al pastor tacos were really good. So was the Cali burrito, and the red cheese enchiladas! The carnitas plate was also very good and well portioned off. I loved the bottomless chips and salsa. The salsa was really fresh and tasted really good! They are definitely very courteous with their alcohol mixed drinks!! I ordered the Paloma, really great flavor and I also ordered the sweet candy watermelon drink and tasted just like the mexican chilli tamarind covered lollipop(very sweet)! At around 9 pm this restaurant turns into a small nightclub for people who are 21yrs and over!
This is the first time since the change in ownership that decided to try again. The food was outstanding. My wife had tacos and I had carnitas. Pork was very tasty. The rice and beans were just as good. Service was good and friendly. We will be back.
The staff is nice, we went last Sunday at noon...menudo was a new item...we were gonna order but we're told they were out...they opened at 11...there was only four other people...how the hell did they run out...idk ..good thing we only went to watch football and drinks appetizers
I always test a new Mexican restaurant for its authenticity by ordering the speciality plates and if they mess up Carnitas plate.. they are fired. A very large portion and wonderfully marinated. The carnitas was very good. Will now try other dishes..
Food was really good as well as the service.. Prices vary on the plates you choose.. we had the Machos Nachos and a Molcajete.. no complaints..
I came here when it was añejos. This place seems sort of similar, but it's not as lively as it once was. Probably for many different reasons. What I've had has been great and the staff is really friendly. It has my business
Came here for my sisters graduation with her class and they were not prepared to handle the event. It took them more than 1 1/2 hours and counting to bring the food. I don't think i will make it when they do bring the food.
