Line order, see what you want and order as they make it in front of you. All Poke poke I have been are the same. Great friendly quick service. Parking is easy easy to find. Good for quick healthy meal. Eat in or take to go. Food is always fresh. Servers always friendly and helpful. I have been to 4 or 5 different locations. I believe they have different owners but all are awesome.
The food is fresh and they have not been cutting down portion sizes like other restaurants of this variety. I hope they continue to serve the same size and quality of food. I understand prices for things are going up and I hope they don’t cut back the quality and instead choose to price things as needed because I have seen a lot of restaurants lower quality instead of raising the price.Please always have the same good food keep up the good work. It is getting harder to find good Poki thank you for continuing to serve quality food.
I really enjoy this place. The fish is fresh, the portions are generous ( at least the people that served me) and the price is reasonable. Keep up the good work and I'll keep coming back
They get business by default because there are very limited poke options in the area. Both places aren’t good but they exist. Prices are outrageous for limited portions and toppings. The scooper for the meat is so tiny (it holds like 2-3 cubes of salmon). I got a large bowl and the girl literally just scooped nothing into my bowl for one of the scoops and tried to play it off like something went in the bowl. I said something and she acted confused.…I didn’t pay for a large bowl $18 for no meat. It shouldn’t be awkward that I expect to get what I pay for but they make it that way and have trash attitudes.It’s irritating this is one of two spots in Escondido to choose from.
Mike's BBQ next door is a more welcoming place. The customer service at poki poki is way under par.
Food was good as always. This particular staff seemed a little burned out and unfriendly but did get our orders right. I think they even told us they were short-staffed at the time and doing the best they could

Place has fallen off. Price has gone up twice. Serving size has shrunk three times One bowl was $17.50 today. Go to a regular Sushi place and get take out. Slightly better quality for $12.95
worst poke i have ever had. didn’t give any forks or chopsticks, fish and seaweed salad was very obviously old, cucumbers were brown and soggy, didn’t get more than a scoop of fish. to top it all off there was hair in the rice. the most disgusting thing i’ve eaten and i couldn’t even eat it.
I’m originally from Escondido but live in Florida. Florida has no real poke culture which is a bummer.Coming back home I’ve been eating here EVERY. OTHER. DAY.I’ve been to alllll kinds of poke places and this is just my favorite. So many sauce options, and cheap for three scoops of proteins versus other places a regular bowl is just two scoops.It really is very filling, especially with all the toppings. This place is usually busy and for a reason. My opinion, best poke in town, hands down.
