This is a charming little place that serves tasty food and a lot of it!!!! The waitstaff member was very friendly and helpful as we were trying to decide among several great looking options. We chose a couple that she recommended and were very pleased. The food was really good and the portion size was large. We wound up eating less than half of each dish so we get to have it again as we took the rest home. The prices are very reasonable and this is definitely a place we would visit again when in the area.
It was decent Thai Food. However I think the review that said “best Thai hands down” was a bit overrated. The Panama tasted like the curry my best friend and I make (honestly!) and when I asked for Pad Prik King the man in the phone was confused. I think I know why, it was green beans (and beef) swimming in coconut milk sauce (bleh!) with the green beans having been overcooked. I know my review is an outlier, but I do have a discerning palate, and when I dine out it’s SPECIFICALLY to taste something BETTER than I could make at home. That being said, the man who rang me up when i ARRIVED for pick up was wonderful, cordial, and just all around great. Would I eat here again? Probably, I’m willing to give it a second shot.
We are visiting from out of town and have tried different Thai restaurants before. Panya Thai Restaurant is one of the best. Plenty of choices in the menu and generous portions. Food tastes great and flavorful. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend to try this restaurant whenever you are in the area.
Tien made our experience Amazon. Food is best in the city bar none. We had a nice time and the portions were big enough for leftovers. We will absolutely return.
Really good food. Super fresh and delicious! Had a couple different items on the menu and everything has been great. Pad Thai is always good (level 4 spicy). This last time I had the Yum salad with shrimp and It was a great choice for something lighter. The curry is always a good choice too.
The See-Yew is soooooo gooooood! They have a gluten free version (no soy sauce or maybe they use tamari?). Careful when you choose on the spicy scale, we ordered a 5 outr of 10 and could barely finish the first time. The second visit we got 1/10 and it wasn't spicy at all. We also liked the satay and Thai iced tea. Our server was very efficient and kind. We will be back again for sure.
Went here for the first time and was not impressed. I live with a Thai family and have cooked my own curry before. They didn’t put enough of the actual curry paste in and did not let the vegetables simmer in it long enough. Even the chicken tasted under cooked. It was basically barely cooked raw veggies in a lightly seasoned coconut milk soup. I hope that this was just a bad night? I saw several people return there plates in the 30 minutes we were there.
The food was very good and fast service.
Very tasty food. We got a 5 on the spicy scale of 1 to 10 and it was HOT! Really fast and great service. Will be back!
Fast and friendly service! Tasty and delicious thai food. They are not serving sticky rice but its okay. Their lunch special is plenty and it comes with soup, wanton and spring rolls, very reasonable price.
