Idk who it is but you guys are starting to slack on the sushi, there's like a teaspoon of masago, and only 2 pieces of green onion and a couple sesame seeds. My salmon is naked compared to your pics.

Got to go back to the Mirin Cafe today. These guys made it through covid and I think they're better than they were prior. You can tell when you visit a place and they want to stay in business. The food is fresh, Fair priced and the portions are large. It's great to find these places, it almost restores your faith in humanity. Anyway if you're in the mood for Japanese and on East valley parkway, hit it up you won't regret it.

This place is so good! Love the atmosphere too. I ordered the chicken terriyaki entree. It came with miso soup, rice, and green salad. The people there are super nice. Definitely recommend.

Nice little place with good food. Location looked a bit weird (like an old fast food building?) And inside was small, but overall delicious food.

Love this place. Best Japanese style food in Escondido for sure. They are always busy at dinner time so expect a wait. Online ordering works great with lots of customization options. Top 5 favorite place to eat.

I ordered the Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen and asked to add veggies to it. It was so delicious. I have had ramen in lots of places and this one of definitely a top 3 for me. Also ordered the cucumber salad which was very refreshing. Will come back again!

After visiting so many Japanese diners and restaurants, Mirin Cafe offers a great selection of Japanese meals and appetizers that remind me of my days living in Japan. For those living in the North County area of San Diego, especially in Escondido, Mirin Cafe is a small diner that offers big portions to most dishes you order.Staff is very courteous, friendly and speedy; attending to the customers needs with high quality.I've eaten at this establishment twice and I will be returning again cause of how tasty their food is. My compliments to the chefs, cooks and staff. Keep up the great work Mirin ?

Mirin cafe is a decent little Japanese restaurant that serves most of the food you'd expect to find at a Japanese place. It's got reasonable prices, and the food is pretty good, though not exceptional. A good local japanese option for escondido that isn't all about sushi.

Delicious food!! It's a lovely little place, with a bonus drive through window if you don't want to go inside!I would give 5 stars but our waitress seemed irritated to be helping us. The rest of the staff seemed happy and eager to help. Maybe it was just a bad day for her...it didn't stop us from enjoying the meal and location. Good ramen and really fresh sushi.

I'd give 1 1/2 stars if I could. I ordered one of their sushi rolls and the chef omitted to remove the plastic covering the imitation crabs come in. So I basically nearly consumed plastic :/ As for the taste though, very delicious. Wouldn't order here often though because of my experience :/
