The best tacos & torre los panchos mmm so good ?
Hadn't been there since previous to covid. Was a little surprised by the plexiglass separators. Seems to affect the ambiance but maybe helps with noise?I received the greasiest quesadilla I've ever scene in my life. Yes cheese can be greasy but this had veggies on it and was sopping wet with grease. My sister enjoyed her chimichanga and delicious michilada!! ??The staff wasn't overly welcoming which is kind of a bummer.Upon leaving, we exited the side door and I'll make the suggestion they should give it a good scrub down.
Really nice find..We will go back for sure.We ordered a dish that looked enough for 2 people, but when we got it, it wasn't really for 2.. oh well.At least it was really good ...Our waitress Lidia, was really helpful and friendly...Yes, we will go back
This was my first time dining at Los Ponchos. It was a little rundown. Basically a hole in the wall. . However, it does not take away from their service and the quality of delicious meals that come out of this restaurant.. in addition, the service was great and the establishment was clean. it wa. I would definitely come back and recommend this place two friends and family.
Yes we recommend Los Panchos Mexican Grill restaurant in Escondido. Their food is very authentic seafood and Mexican faire !! They have beer and wine. Wish they had Tequila margaritas margaritas!!????
The Staff was super nice and helpful. I had to get up though and asknfor extra plates. The food was SUPER greasy though. I had to use many napkins to soak it up. The quac needed salt and acid, but the chicken was super good and flavorful. Had it 2 different ways, both were very good. I'd give it another shot. May have just been an off day.
What a find!!!! Thank you google maps as we were driving down the highway. Food was amazing. Our server Jennifer was gracious and kind. Our busser was definitely lickety split on top of his job!!! He was fun to watch. Handmade corn tortillas were delicious. Just can’t say enough good things about the food. It was all very good and smartly priced.
I lived just outside Escondido when I was in early grade school. This town has always taken it's Mexican food seriously. Los Panchos continues this wonderful heritage. I'm miles away from Escondido now, but I may never be able to drive by without stopping.
I had Panchos burrito wet with green sauce. It was great, loved it. Our server Naomi was the best , very attentive. Enjoyed it.
This place is a bit more authentic than most other Mexican restaurants. The food is very good and the chips always come out hot. The first basket of chips is free but additional baskets are $3 which is lame. The service could be more attentive.
