Authentic restaurant in Old Town. We thought the food was great and the margaritas even better. The service was a bit slow but the rest made up for it.
For the quality of the food i felt like it was way over priced. The kids "chicken tenders" were just 3 giant chicken nuggets. The carne asada was unseasoned and very small portion. The ceviche also had no seasoning or flavor. And the albondiga soup was way too salty ??♀️ whatever they changed with their recipes they need to change it back
Wait staff was very nice and friendly. They were working very hard with the little staff they have.The food was not authentic at all. The salsa was gross. Food didn’t have flavor. If you want authentic Mexican food don’t come here.Drinks were good though.
Everyone here is so nice, and they make you feel so welcome. The favorite thing in the restaurant is all the smiling faces.?(But the Chile Relleno is my 2nd favorite).
I hadn't been to LA Tapatia for almost a year so. Went back yesterday for a drinks Appetizers right before my movie started... Food was amazing. Better somehow. The chicken wings were not dry they were just perfect! The Buffalo sauce was amazing!! prefect!! the hostess and bartender, the staff Was so welcoming.
