A friend and I came to Joe’s on a Wednesday evening and we mostly had the place to ourselves. The entire dining experience was excellent, every dish we had was amazing. The highlights of the meal were the bruschetta, the pasta (of course), and the cheesecake for dessert.Joe’s certainly one of those places where you don’t want to rush your experience, just sit back and enjoy!
If you've been to Italy or have been lucky enough to sit down in a real Italian cuccina, you'll appreciate the perfect combination of flavors and textures that Joe's Italian Dinners have to offer from literally any dish on the menu. Im sad we didn't come here sooner during our stay in California but my husband's wallet is lucky I didn't know about it before pregnancy because the cravings would be insatiable. There are certain places you can only get THAT perfect thing and this menu has all of the perfect things.Yummmmmm. Will forever look forward to trips to so cal for some Joes Italian.
We are only in the area once a year, but we spend a couple hours of our trip here(2.5 tonight). Dinner is always amazing. Ordered all the desserts tonight and the family and I enjoyed every bit of them. Dark yes, romantic for couples absolutely. Fast most defenitly not, fresh absolutely. Portions very generous. Price extremely reasonable. Angelina always on point with service, year after year!!!
Don't go if you are in a rush. The food is prepared fresh. Joe is the chef. I've had multiple meals and all were great. Chicken Parmigiano s cooked perfect. Their red sauce for pasta is wonderful.
Always such a great experience dining here. Love the service and the staff is all family and are all so pleasant every visit. The food is amazing!!! Don’t forget to save room for an expresso and something from the dessert menu.
Went to dinner Friday night March 4th with friends to celebrate our birthdays my wife left our birthday cards and her custom face mask with our dogs picture on it we called Saturday afternoon March 5 to check if they found it and the girl said yes and we threw it in the trash your dog is cute though. This place is so dark I had to use the light on my phone to look at the menu. I had the lasagna which was just ok. I have had the lasagna at Filippi’s Pizza Grotto in Poway 10 times better. Just the fact that they found the custom mask left at the table with the birthday cards and just threw them in the trash.We will never go back to Joe’s Italian restaurant there are so many other restaurants with better food and service.
Cute family Italian restaurant. Definitely better than olive garden. I love the pesto sauce and tomato sauce for their pasta.
Joe's is one of our favorite restaurants in all of San Diego Co. We have been coming here for years and feel like family when we visit. Truly a warm and welcoming experience every time we go. Highly recommend all the selections.
Got spaghetti with Bologonese. Not the best I’ve had, but not bad. Decently priced. Good enough for a quick to go order. I’d come back?
Great selection of entrees. Limited wine selection but good variety. Our food was fantastic!
