Sandwiches are always very good, bread is always soft and fresh. Highly recommend this place in the industrial area off Auto Parkway in Escondido.Dropped a star because the last few months, they never pick up the phone to take orders. My owner likes me to order sandwiches there for his business meetings. I have to call the day before or early the next morning to get someone to pick up their phone. I've tried for hours this morning 2/18 and have yet to get an answer. Now I have to go a 1/2 hour early to order in person, just to get my order done by the meeting time. It's just so convenient being so close to our office. Hope they hire more people.

The hot pastrami sandwich I had there today was very average, first, the young lady that was helping to make the sandwiches handled the bread, pickles and lettuce with no gloves on, this is very unsanitary .The pastrami was fatty and not very flavourful.overall it was a sub par sandwich and being from Philadelphia I know what a good sandwich is supposed to taste like But the truth is the truth would I go here again, No!
One of my favorite sandwich shops ever. Go spend your money here instead of big franchise sandwich shops!
I would give 5 stars, because sandwiches are really good. However, they have a schedule posted on the door and Google maps and it's really disappointing when you are coming in at 9:30 am and place that is opened from 7 am in the morning according their schedule is still closed

I was visiting from Texas and this was my first time in the area and saw this place. Wow! I got the Turkey, bacon avocado and it was amazing. Everything is bigger in Texas? No! California has this one! And better yet, the awesome flavors and freshness. Loved it!!! And Great service! Thanks!
