2 bad experiences in row. The last time we ordered we waited 30 minutes after the eta which was anoying but not a big deal. This time. We Ordered online. Was notified it was ready for pickup. Went to pick it up and the doors were locked and there was a sign that said “out of dough”. We knocked on the door but the people inside were intentionally ignoring us We tried to call the store for a refund and no one was answering the phone. The workers inside were on their phones eating and eating pizza as we stood knocking at the door for 15 minutes. I’ll have to contact my bank for the refund. Very poor management. 10/10 would not recommend Little Caesar’s would never do me like this.
If you are coming here with above average expectations just remember that you are going to Domino's and not your local hipster $35 pizza place. They are consistent and when something goes wrong (long delivery) they have always made it right (free pizza). The staff are always cool when I go in or get delivery. If you want Domino's and need it at expected speeds then this is your spot if you live in the east San Marcos or North East Escondido area.
Walking around the neighborhood so we walked by to place an order. Was told it would be ready in 45 minutes to an hour, no problem we were gonna keep walking around anyway. Came back after the hour and was told it was almost ready. After waiting for 20 minutes, we were told they just put it in the oven. Why tell us and lie to us saying it is almost ready when in fact the pizzas are still raw and not even in the oven yet ??Update: Despite the wait, pizza was very good!
Pizza was hot and fresh
Horrible service, overall. We were told the maximum time would be 90 minute delivery wait. When we checked our tracker at 15 minutes past our delivery time of 90 minutes, it was still in a “quality check” status. We called the store and waited on hold for 10 minutes before we decided to drive to the store location.(only 1.5 miles away from our delivery address). We requested to have our order cancelled as we continued to wait on hold on the phone as well. Other customers were stating they had to come in for their own delivery order as well. The staff took no responsibility and blamed the online site. We were still waiting on hold on the at this time. We refused the food because now it had been sitting for 45 or more according to tracker. Drove to little ceasars and waitied 15 minutes as a walk in. We chose initially to pay double price plus a delivery charge at dominos. We received such horrible service, we drove to Dominos to refuse business in person and then drove to competitor. We were serviced in quarter of the time, half the cost…..this matters.
Some friend's and I placed a to-go order online tonight....after placing the order and waiting for about 30 minutes, we called to check on our order. We were greeted by a monotoned male, who informed us that he canceled our order without our permission or without giving us any sort of heads up to come pick up our order before they closed. He then proceeded to tell us that we should have known about this so-called "timed order" because there was only one employee working at the time. He left us completely empty handed with no apology or anything...I have never heard of such service and I hope someone addresses it quickly.
I ordered online, and after 30 minutes the online tracker said that it was out of the oven and being checked. After an hour later, no changes so I called the store. Whomever answered said they were backed up and would be out shortly. After another two hours, I called again and was on hold for 30 minutes. I said screw it the place is about 1.5 miles away, I'll go see what's up. Upon arrival, it wasn't until about 3 minutes in that someone came to help. They were disorganized as they were backed up and couldn't find my order. After waiting 10 minutes, the manager finally had my order ready. As calm as I could, as I was seething internally, I asked for the delivery fee to be waived. In response, the manager wordlessly opened the register gave me $6.00 and walked away. No apologies for the inconvenience or anything. Unless you are really craving Domino's, I would recommend anywhere else in the are for pizza.
Online ordering is nice and simple. However they tend to take a while with quality check; even with quick delivery our food is normally cold once it arrives
I have never been more shocked by the absolute lack of customer service and just lack of general decency.. I ordered an order at 11:20 PM. My order was accepted into the system and it said it was beginning to be prepped.. After about 15 minutes however it's changed statuses to "order canceled" Everywhere I saw from the door on the location to the hours on Google stated they would be open until 12:00. This is unfortunate, I didn't get my pizza for the night. But life goes on. The reason I'm writing this review is because the gentleman inside the locked location treated me with the absolute and utmost disrespect. I was simply asking when I would get the money back that had already been taken from my credit card. Hes proceeded to yell "were closed and" and then he even stated "do you want me to call the cops?? Are you kidding me? I would have been fine with a simple "3 to 5 business days".
They constantly bypass the system to say your order is ready so they can verbally tell you to wait 15 more minutes off the timer. They always seem to do this on slow shifts too where there’s no necessary reason, & the shift lead is absolutely disrespectful to the other employees too, enough to where us customers hear it. It’s kind of embarrassing honestly, she makes it very clear that a leadership position isn’t for her. This store needs training & a management adjustment for sure
